Fanatic service and unbelievable food. The chief theatrics are always a big hit with children and myself. We always find time to frequent this place for a great lunch.

Michael, our chef, does an excellent show. He cooks our steaks just the way we ask. We also asked for sushi, it was the first time tasting it for my wife. I ordered California rolls, to be safe, knowing she would like the imitation crab. She loved the California rolls.

Waitress asked “can I put your soup in a bigger container” I said “yeah sure” I don’t know what possessed her to put hot soup in a plastic cup for soda? At least a styrofoam cup would be preferable. To top it off she handed the piping hot cup to me. Not in a bag. Just handed it to me. First and last time I go to Tokyo Steak.

the food is and always will be good here but i genuinely cannot stand the service. we’ve been here several times and this last time was the worst. we waited 30 whole minutes to be helped. 30. idk why i even chose to wait. i told the store owner we were waiting for 30 minutes and she had such a bad attitude and proceeded to talk crap in front of me to her other coworker. she’s super unprofessional and rude. she did nothing to make sure we were satisfied but complained that we had said something. they always make you sit and wait until some other family shows up to fill a table but their restaurant is so dead that no one ever goes. if you’re too broke to turn on your grills for every person that walks in then close your store down. plain and simple.

We went for happy hour for our 15 year anniversary. Happy hour in posted from 3pm to 6pm. We walked in at 530pm, to find they open at 5pm no happy hour. I really hope the food makes up for it.

Chef was horrible! He had a hard time making our food obviously new but should be trained better before cooking in front of guest it was total disaster! No show or tricks just awkward as he cooked. I felt bad for him it’s definitely not his fault. The owner is 100% to blame this place is not as good as it used to be disappointing experience that was $200 for 4 adults and a mandatory tip was added to the bill. Don’t waste your time and money

Went here for dinner, it wasn't packed. Seated immediately at the grill and the Chef was awesome! Service was attentive, answered every question. The Miso soup is my favorite, I ordered extra to take home, I got the steak and shrimp fried rice and it was absolutely delicious, hot off the grill. I wish I had a better appetite because everything was so delicious. I am always impressed with the food and service here, can't wait to go back!
The worst place I've ever been to for sushi 🍣. I wanted to get another dish, and they told me the guy who makes them is on break. It's incredible, the tables are dirty and sticky. The service wasn't unpleasant. But the previous experience spoiled everything.

I've been to this place once & would like to go another time. I enjoyed my meal, sashimi & shrimp & steak combo. My date's chiccen was a bit overcooked tho, so you may have to be on top of the chef cooking in front of you 😭 The chef was also very low energy, like he jus rolled out of bed. He did a basic show of the onion volcano. It was a slow day, there was maybe 5 customers in the restaurant, so I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Dropped over $130 for an enjoyable date 👌🏿
