Inquired about octopus rolls since they don’t have any on the menu and the chef asked a few questions and whipped one up for us. It was the most delicious octopus roll ever, needs to be on the menu IMO. 100% coming back and brining friends. Staff was chill and observant

So far every item ordered from the menu has been delicious and cooked perfectly. This is one of our new favorite sushi spots in the high desert 🏜 and is highly recommended. The portions are filling and are plated beautifully, the restaurant is clean and open. The service is fast and professional. The food quality is great. The shrimp tempura and appetizers are cooked to perfection. Not soggy, oily, overcooked or frozen burned. The rolls and the ingredients used seem fresh. Their menu selection is large and much to choose from. Their prices are also fair for the quality and quantity you're getting. This is also a kid friendly establishment. With selections for little ones. Ive introduced family to the restaurant and they love it as well and will be bringing their friends to try it!
I just ate here and unfortunately had a terrible experience. I ordered the yellowtail sashimi, the Orange Blossom roll, and the Monkey Balls. The salmon on the Orange Blossom roll had no flavor at all—only the sauce came through. The Monkey Balls had a weird, off-putting taste, and the yellowtail was just okay—not great, not horrible.
But the worst part? The food made me sick. Within minutes of leaving, I had to stop down the street to throw up. My stomach was in serious pain, and I knew something wasn’t right. I spent $60 to be poisoned. Definitely won’t be returning.
The sushi is fresh, and they have options for everyone. Great drink options and presentation. This place has been around for years for a reason, it's delicious 😋
Food was amazing, service was great.
Honestly the best sushi restaurant in the valley! Ppl that like to post negative reviews are lame and have no clue. To see what expensive sushi cost, maybe go to the beach and see what expensive is. The staff at Tokyo is awesome, the food is very fresh, and the price is absolutely in line for what is being ordered. There are others in the valley that are good, but to have the best, you pay for it. This restaurant is highly recommended
