This donut shop has been my favorite, go to, for the best dang apple fritters for over 45 years!!! But I hate to say it, it's gone straight down the drain since it's now under new management/ownership. The fritters now look like a very flat yet lumpy pancake!!! Not a good thing. I used to buy these fritters by the dozen, but I rarely go there anymore!!!! Totally bummed!!!!!!

This place is packed.. maybe due to lunch time I was there for approx. 10 min. Friendly staff work fast to get order out as fast as they can. Good food.

If I could give this place a 3.5 rating I would. I fully believe this is better than what me and my husband experienced today because I can tell that there is more to this place than what we saw and experienced when we came here today. The reason it is 3 stars is because they didn't have almost half the menu, if not just a little bit more.
A few locals came here while we were ordering and while we were eating and every single one of them said the same thing: "This place is great" and I truly believe that they are better than what we experienced.
Food was good, but I really wish we were able to try more of what we wanted that they didn't have available.
All in all, this place was good and I want to try them again but I really need to try to come at a different time.
The bacon egg and cheese bagel was delicious. Their donuts were great. And the prices compared to most are absolutely unbeatable for what they had available.
True rating is 3.5 stars. Would recommend that you try on your own.

I found mucus at the bottom of my coffee. It was a large coffee, and I made it all way to the end before I found a glob of mucus.

We would always stop by when we had the chance. We would get half a dozen and the previous owners would always throw in one extra. We went a couple of times after that and the new owner did the same. We recently went and the young man said nope. He wasn't giving an extra donut. So we left and didn't buy anything, atleast if he is running the store. I miss the previous owners but glad she retired.

I have been going here for 20yrs. I will never go here again. New owners. Donuts are hard. The apple fritter was not done still had raw dough in side. Will be finding another shop. Had to throw Donuts away ?
I went there about two days ago an I’m 6 months pregnant I ordered a drink me an my husband asked the very short guy if we can sit down he said no it’s only for them I went in today an ordered some bagels the bagels are stale and we saw a customer come in and he got to sit down I’m very up set I don’t know if it’s a racism thing sense my husband isn’t a certain skin color or if he’s just plain disrespectful I’m not sure but I will never go back again

For some reason this location seems to condone serving donuts with questionable green spots. Unsurprisingly the donuts tasted bad enough to spit out. Witnessed someone else justifiably complain. The employee attempting to amend the issue required a customer to translate as he didn't speak English, and a manager was nowhere to be found. The other customer got his refund, but was told to never come back. This location gives Winchell's a bad name.

It's a small place, so I recommend getting it to go if that's not your thing. Otherwise, super friendly service. Coffee was absolutely DELICIOUS. Nice variety of donuts and other drinks. Good value and prices. I'll get coffee every time I'm in the area!

Winchell's donuts are the best donuts in town my friend & I went there on a Friday & got 12 donuts for $12.00 the lady that works there is really nice she helped us with our donut order
Parking: There was plenty of parking spaces in the parking lot there were only one guy sitting inside the donut shop eating whatever he had bought
