Was in wasco for a week for a job and I didn't know what place had great Mexican food. Then I met a family at Walmart and they recommended this place. I went to eat there Wednesday night and it was amazing. The food was authentic Mexican cuisine and homemade. The restaurant was like an old western Clint Eastwood movie. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. Anybody in town check the restaurant out absolutely worth the time.

Amazing food! Prompt and courteous. Everything we have ordered so far is excellent and we are now at least once a week repeat customers the owners are amazing. I just wish they were open for lunch.

Stay away from this place. We went in around mid afternoon the place was empty. We ordered our plates one of them being the molcajete and my mother in law ordered shrimp tacos. The waitress took about an hour to come take our order trying to be understanding we waited, when we finally ordered the molcajete was missing items they said "no that's all it includes" so we showed her the menu the cook came out and said it does actually come with it. It was also a very sad molcajete compared to other places and expensive. They messed up the shrimp tacos and brought out a shrimp caldo instead we told them that it's the wrong order and the waitress said "that's what she ordered" both my husband and I were there and heard that was definitely NOT what she ordered my mother in law decided to keep it as we were starving and although it's not what she wanted she didn't want to make any trouble. The service was horrible, the food was worse, and we will never step foot there again and make sure all our family and friends know this. I'm surprised there are any good reviews.

It was our first time eating here, and we really liked it. I had the Camarones a la Diabla, which was very good. Hot, but not overwhelming. The wife had chile rellano and chile verde combo, which she said was very good. The rice and beans were also tasty. They put a salad of some sort on the plate, and it was way too vinegary. We're not in Wasco often, but we'd come back for sure.

Was on a stopover in nearby #Delano and looking for a casual meal for two. Nothing appealed nearby so I extended my search and found Catrina’s. So glad I did! This is a buzzy local restaurant/bar in Wasco. It was busy and we were made very welcome. Menu is extensive and well priced. Cocktails looked great but I was driving! Soft drinks were ordered to accompany the complementary chips and salsa. Salsa was great! Really enjoyed my Chili Verde and my wife had Fajita Style Enchilada. Portions were large and very tasty. Well worth the 20 minute drive!

Haven't had a bad meal since they've been open. The staff are always smiling. Service is awesome. Best small town restaurant.

The customer service is minimal to rude. The food is under spiced and while it isn't disgusting it's not great either. I think what the regulars like from that restaurant is that they serve alcohol. Putting if tequila in you and anything taste good They do know how to cook a steak well though and the good old standby of chips and salsa is always good. But other than that I do not recommend this restaurant at all

This is by far the best food I've eaten at Wasco. My crew and I have scoured the town and found this place and has now become one of our favorite places to eat.

The food was amazing, service was amazing. We where seated very quickly. I order the chills verde and it was so delicious. I highly recommend the Chile verde if you come to this place. It reminded me of my families cooking from Mexico. The whole setting feels very homey and makes you feel very welcome. If I could give this place more stars I definitely would.
