I've been eating sushi wrong this whole time. Where has this place been all my life🥲 I tried the rainbow roll and the Don Sushi roll and they were delicious. It pacts a lot of flavor and the texture is perfect. The host was super sweet and taught me how to eat it so that it enhanced my experience. You NEED to try it

Was excited to try this new place and was disappointed. Ordered 3 rolls, California with fresh tuna, G roll, and a cielo mar y tierra roll. While the decor was nice and the service was friendly the food was greatly lacking. Will not be returning and do not recommend.

THIS IS NOT YOUR STANDARD SUSHI RESTAURANT! This restaurant is a Mexican Sushi fusion if you’re willing to try it feel free but it’s not the standard sushi that one is used to. The hostess was very nice and service was very quick but if you are looking for a standard Rainbow roll or a California roll they don’t have it. I looked. With that being said the ambiance is absolutely beautiful but I just wish the lackluster food matched the amazing service and atmosphere.
P.S. They did have technical difficulties with their POS system and I ended up having to Zelle the manager or owner.

The new restaurant in our small town definitely exceeded my expectations. Not only was the food top-notch, but the convenience of not having to drive out of town made the experience even better. The cleanliness of the place was also a huge plus, and the service was excellent. Our server was especially helpful and made fantastic recommendations since it was our first time there. The atmosphere and decor were also impressive, and the friendly staff added to the overall fantastic experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

The atmosphere is beautiful & clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially for someone like me who has only had Japanese sushi. Made recommendations based on our likes and they did not miss. Food came quickly and was delicious. I highly recommend. Lots of restaurants have growing pains when they first open and I'm pretty sure that's what all the negative reviews are about. But they definitely got it right on our visit and we will be returning.

Overall not a good place. My group was excited to try out a sushi place in Wasco because Blue sushi is never open. The atmosphere was cramped and the floors were full of trash. The lighting was so dim, pretty inconvenient for people with vision impairment to read the menu. The staff has their kids running in and out of the kitchen, we heard a loud crash and some crying back there, hope the kid is alright! After ordering some 23 dollar sushi rolls, we waited well over 40 minutes to receive our 3 plates. We couldn’t help but hear and see the kitchen staff leaning against the walls chatting and laughing while they waited to bring out the food. I say waited because they held off on bringing the plates out until all 3 were finished, resulting in lukewarm sushi. The food was really disappointing. The fried sushi was bland, the rice was most likely not sushi rice, or it was washed because every single roll fell apart as we tried them. The contents inside were minimal. One strip of meat and no shrimp, even though we ordered the shrimp and res rolls. We were really hungry after waiting that long though, so the rolls were eaten. All of this would have been forgiven, if we hadn’t checked the reviews and seen about four 5 star excellent reviews that were all posted the same day, covering up what seemed to be authentic reviews. We are pretty sure those aren't true to the don sushi experience. Hopefully over time the place gets on track, but for now, I’d say blue sushi is worth the wait.
