Ended up coming here when our fave donut shop was closed. We hadn't been here for a couple years maybe, so I don't know if there's different owners than pre-Covid but the donuts are not good. I bought 6, we tried half of 2 of the donuts and threw the rest out. I can't even explain what was wrong with them, they were just not good. The counters were a mess too. Just not a good vibe, nor good food.

The chocolate and glazed raised doughnuts are okay. Could takes them flour and oil in the doughnut. They may have rushed the batch by not letting the doughnuts rest and rise long enough. The oil may have not been hot enough so the doughnuts absorbed some of it so it tasted oily. They are not bad nor the best. The staff is friendly and the shop is inviting to hang, have a doughnut and coffee.

On a vacation in California and was looking for some donuts before hitting the road. I have to say, these donuts were AMAZING, the dough *especially*. I’m from New York, so we have a lot of amazing bakeries, especially Italian bakeries that serve donuts here, but I don’t think I’ve ever had to dough on a donut as good as I did just now today. Now, there is a bit of a language barrier if you don’t speak Spanish, but the food and kindness of the owners more than makes up for that, although I would recommend coming prepared to translate into Spanish if you have a more specific order.I ordered two donuts and the owner threw two donut holes in with each as an added bonus. Insanely nice people and a very chill vibe. I could not recommend Donut King more. Amazing stuff.

I ordered the thai tea boba, and it was good. My only constructive criticism is that the boba were not properly cooked; some pieces were soft, and some were solid. The tea itself was good, though.

Donut was okay but the boba drink was gross. There was added sugar just piled up in the bottom and it was soooo sweet I couldn't even drink it and I'm a sugar addict! The kid that made it maybe just was clueless? Too expensive to be so gross. Had to pour it out!
