My last three experiences here: The salad gave me food poisoning and they gave me the wrong sauce aswell They forgot an item in my bag when I ordered from them on doordash The clam chowder soup that is supposed to be "thick and creamy" was watery and flavorless, along with the bread bowl I got having a hole cut in the bottom so any soup you put in it sinks out through the bottom. I've given this place a few times to prove it was all just a one time thing but it's not, I don't think i'll come here again because the cost for the quality is not matching.

Something's going on w the Watsonville location. Ordered a Natural High, like I have for 35 or so years? They gave me a completely diff sandwich altogether. Tried them again a few weeks later, Natural high was huge, dry, no special sauce, didn't taste the same. Will give another try at some point.

This place is my go to whenever I want a sandwich! I always get their pilgrims progress, which I absolutely love! I've ate both in the restaurant, and ordered to go, and have never had any complaints. My sandwich is always delicious, the place is clean, and when ordering to go, my order is always ready by the time they said it would be. I tried their Caesar salad recently and was pleasantly surprised. There is plenty of parking too as well dedicated parking for curbside pick up!
I just opened my takeout sandwich. So disgusting! My sourdough was very stale and hard. There was very little inside. 11 bucks for this junk!! I have been going to Erik's since I was a kid in Scott's Valley early 70s. They even had a spot for us to tie up our horses while we ate. Kinda sad that it's not even the same. Never again will I eat here at this location.

Once upon a time Erik's deli used to make great big sandwiches with flavor and quality meats. Did ownership change? Are they having financial troubles? Do they simply not have pride in what they serve? Today, I bought a chicken pesto with sliced sourdough. I thought they had only served me a HALF sandwich when I realized they now use small sliced sourdough and the chicken quality is chewy and doesn't feel fresh. It's too bad that after years of a great reputation, this isn't at the forefront of their interest. I'd say, go to Garden Liquors in Soquel in Santa Cruz for the price n quality. Erik's I hope you revert back to the quality you used to have.

Delicious food with a unique twist. All the sandwiches use sprouts instead of lettuce! Of course you can customize this, and throw in whatever customizations your heart desires, but even just the stock sandwiches are delicious!They have lovely indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff was very kind and seemed happy.Dietary restrictions: The options for sandwiches or salads are very customizable to suite your dietary needs.
