The Carrot cake that I bought was not really good, because the walnuts were soggy, like old. There was more cream inside for the filling and less bread. It was too sweet, but the flavor was ok.

We emailed back and forth, and between pictures and communicating back forth, they got my wedding cake exactly how I pictured it. The red velvet flavor was the BEST cake I have ever had! If I could post a 5star review everytime I am here I would. Last January my Bday cake was amazing. The ganache brownies w/walnuts are my favorite. I miss the deli but thats ok. The cookies are good too. This is the best place to get a cake from. The flavors are remarkably good.

After searching high and low for a reasonably priced Chicago Cubs cookie…which you think you could find IN CHICAGO, I stumbled on Freedom Bakery. We wanted them for a wedding welcome back. The pricing was incredibly reasonable and the cookie was delicious. Not a single cookie was broken during shipping. I highly recommend!

Big thanks to Freedom Bakery for our delicious and beautiful wedding cake! :) We ordered a 3 tiered raspberry amaretto flavored cake with ombré buttercream frosting, highly recommend, it was the best cake I’ve ever tasted! We also ordered a red velvet sheet cake that was deliciously moist and enjoyed by so many of our guests.

I have been with Freedom bakery since 1983 when my husband Frank worked for them all those years ago. The cakes are made from scratch to order and look at them they are beautiful. We wouldn't go anywhere else for our birthday cakes. Never disappointed with the quality and service. I sure do miss the old Freedom Blvd. location they had fresh baked bread, chocolate pudding pies, pasties and mouth watering delicious doughnuts. The Good ole days.
