Love this place. First discovered it on an organized bike ride out of Santa Cruz and then discovered their pies. Absolutely the best berry pies within 200 miles of me (which includes contenders such as Luna and Avila Barn. Very olde timey an delicious. Highly recommend a detour to visit Gizdich.
This is hands down the best apple pie ever. They have an apple crumble, the original apple pie, the tall apple pie, elderberry pie, and different types of pie like peach cobbler. It’s a family-owned place with a secret recipe. The owner is still alive and does everything herself. She’s amazing. You can walk around the ranch farm area and just relax. You can eat your apple pie there or inside. They also have jams for sale. Honestly, this is the best pie place ever.

Then we each picked a slice for home: I wanted to try their regular apple pie and Hubby picked the Very Berry (blackberry, raspberry, and olallieberry). We also got an apple slushie (tasted like eating a fresh apple, it was so good) and apple juice. It's...
