The best chicken sandwich EVER! Every time I come I am never disappointed by the food and the service. The food is always fresh and delicious! The sauce on a fresh Sando is amazing every single time. I am so happy to hear they have a new food truck. This place is extremely popular for a reason, the food and customers speak for itself. I don’t mind waiting a little for my food, I know it will be worth it & plus I have never waited long. Thank you hot birds for bringing such a different type of food to Watsonville!

Worst service and the chicken was dry. First time going to try it and was very disappointed. They served about ten orders before me and they had ordered way after me. I’ve asked why, and was told because they had two cooks and one was slower. Why blame it on the cook? If they had a bad cook, I’m sure they wouldn’t have that cook working there. I was there for almost two hours. People cut in front of you, so disrespectful and they get their food right away?. I had only ordered a chicken sandwich and an order of chicken tenders and it took them forever to make my order while others got their food right away. They give you a number once you place your order but they don’t follow the order of the numbers. I will not buy there again and will definitely not recommended it. The taste is not that great and dry. This truck is the one in Watsonville. Review of one star well deserved.

Better than most chicken places.. why go to Popeyes when hot birds is literally in the next parking lot and makes Popeyes a rip off? and have plenty to eat later???? First time here... The wait wasn't to long and the portion was a lot more than what I expected BUT!. there was very little chicken for what I expected for 15 bucks had a boat load of fries but that's mostly what you get, there was also barely any coleslaw.
Chicken had little flavor but it was very crunchy and juicy
Fries could have been crispier, for me they were a little soft
Coleslaw was pretty good! but! They put it on top of the fries... fries get soggy from the coleslaw juice. and the coleslaw is under the chicken which they drizzle sauce all over top that I would have enjoyed not having on my coleslaw
I still don't know what the original hype of this place was all about but maybe it was different then still had a good experience though ?
