Can choose any roll except Cali rolls!
Pick spicy roll? Nice umami there
Got chicken teriyaki
And star of the show is the tempura
Super crispy thin coating and soft on the inside
Definitely knows their batter and fryer
Oh it also served with salad and miso soup... almost cannot finish it
We were celebrating my Daughter's birthday and she loved this restaurant!
Always good n fresh and amazing service!
I’ve been coming here for years and in my opinion the best sushi place in Watsonville. They might need to work on getting more staff because when it gets busy there is only one waiter. But for the most part it’s worth the wait.
Food and service was excellent! We had someone next to us listening to videos on loud the entire time, which ruined the atmosphere for us but otherwise this place is awesome!
Super amazing and well worth visiting, do it!
This place was very busy. The food was good but not very hot. Chicken teriyaki was the coldest. Overall, it was a good place to eat and reasonably priced.
I went solo and ordered the edamame, tonkatsu donburi, and a sushi roll.
The edamame was fine, it's really hard to mess up edamame. The donburi was the beef donburi, not the tonkatsu, but I did not notice until I had already started eating it so I figured I would finish it. It was okay, the beef was fried in the style of a tonkatsu, but it was overcooked and slightly burnt. The other parts of the donburi were mediocre. The onions were not fully cooked and there were some pieces that were burnt on the edges but raw in the middle. The eggs were scrambled instead of being fully mixed in with the other ingredients. And the rice was a bit mushy. I honestly forget the name of the role that I ordered, but it had avocado, salmon, basil, and green onion. It was okay, but they really skimped on the salmon as the inside of the roll was mostly avocado and there were very small pieces of salmon on the outside.
These servers were nice, but after taking my order they really didn't check on me to make sure the meal was good.
Overall, I don't regret going, but I will not be going back.
A must visit every time we visit Watsonville! We always order for a large group with a variety of dinner choices - everything is always prepared correctly and it's delicious! Thank you for always making our annual family trip so tasty! -The Matsumoto

Decent place been wanting to try it out for a while. Came during lunch. Staff were really nice. Comfortable setting with good music. Prices are very fair.
Food pros: Nice fluffy rice, Tempura was nice and crispy, Beef Teriyaki was tender, Salad and miso sides tasted as they should. The Super Wow roll had really good flavor.
Food cons: Chicken teriyaki was way overcooked. Dark meat but dry and tough, slim ends were just unedible. The Tonkatsu was a very thin breading, like grounded panko, and was overcooked so dry thin pork slices with dark brown breading. Biggest issue was the Tuna Sashimi. Tasted like a step above Walmart/cheap chinese buffet quality light pink cuts, but not as good quality as some other places.
I'll give the other fish a try next time if I decide to go back, but that tuna was a bit of a turn off.

Yummy rolls and LOTS of choices. Their Korean menu is also delish. Their miso dressing isn’t my favorite tho. Too cinnamon-y and not miso-y enough.

Fantastic location, all of the sushi was amazing and we were recommended the glazed chicken Karaage, which was an absolutely stellar recommendation. Staff was super friendly and sweet and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. What an amazing dinner!

I see a lot of positive reviews here, but my experience is very different. Food was undercooked and lacking flavor.

Nice little restaurant that we discovered on the road. I had a Ramen, it was huge, you have to be very hungry to finish your dish. The service was very friendly.

Walked in and was given a table right away. I order the chicken teriyaki lunch with a large beer and it was the perfect filling for the day.
