I’ve been coming here for years and in my opinion the best sushi place in Watsonville. They might need to work on getting more staff because when it gets busy there is only one waiter. But for the most part it’s worth the wait.
I went solo and ordered the edamame, tonkatsu donburi, and a sushi roll.
The edamame was fine, it's really hard to mess up edamame. The donburi was the beef donburi, not the tonkatsu, but I did not notice until I had already started eating it so I figured I would finish it. It was okay, the beef was fried in the style of a tonkatsu, but it was overcooked and slightly burnt. The other parts of the donburi were mediocre. The onions were not fully cooked and...
