Place is a dump over charge during their karoake hrs.. water is 5 dollars vs dysneland 3.75. There are always fights but dont like to call cops or have security.

Atmosphere was authentic, food wasn't bad, a little to spicy for my taste, but had good flavor.

This place deserves no stars...the shrimp cocktail is the same as the ceviche mix..i COULDN'T BELIEVE it...no lemon no avocado no lime..hardly any shrimp..the only thing good was the soda..that palce dont even have napkins or toilet paper!!! Take my word STAY AWAY FROM HERE... SPENT 50 DOLLARS JUST TO THROW THE FOOD AWAY...I WOULDN'T EVEN GIVE TO HOMELESS PERSON...DISGUSTING...

I love regional Mexican food. I haven't visited a seafood place yet, and we decided to try out this place by accident. I once travelled to Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit, and I loved it there. The food was fantastic. We drove past this restaurant in Watsonville multiple times before we finally decided to stop in. First, Spanish is the preferred language of communication here. There was a lady who spoke enough English, and we spoke enough Spanish, so it worked out. My boyfriend ordered just the ceviche and the horchata. I ordered the shrimp with garlic sauce and jamaica. The waitress set down a basket of tostadas that you typically use for ceviche and a salsa verde that was basically ground-up jalapeí±os. No cutting any spice with tomatillos! It was spicier than the Sonoran salsa at El Pollero. The drinks were huge beer pints. They even give you a free refill, which I didn't need since I couldn't finish my pint of jamaica. My boyfriend did have a pint and a half of horchata, though. The plate of shrimps was very garlicky and good. They even had the shrimp rolled in bacon that my friend Jesus likes. It's mostly a bar that locals come to sit and watch TV, drinking a couple of beers. We liked the food, but there was a strong gust of wind coming through, so my boyfriend got up to shut the door. Great value for what we got. For the two of us, it cost less than $20. ¡Qué fabuloso! Next time I might try the langostino.
