This restaurant is Ike a hidden gem on the outskirts of downtown Watsonville. The food there is authentic with recipes brought from Michoacan, Mexico. Each dish is prepared wish its own individual sauce made from scratch. Everything I've eaten from the menu has been delicious and is worth eating again and again.ive had almost everything on their menu and never been disappointed.. if you're looking for authenticity made from scratch and not from a can like most restaurants...
FYI Cash Only restaurant!! I'm not giving them 3 stars because of that but because I just thought the food was ok. Ordered crunchy tacos and they were just ok. Not amazing but not bad either. I might go again and try something else then I'll know for sure if I would go again. It's just convenient because it's close to my house.
Great mom and pop shop to get a nice authentic Mexican meal with your traditional drink selection. I personally enjoyed the empanadas with shrimp. It was hot, fluffy, and fresh out the fryer. The cheese dripping and the crunchy outside layer just complimented the meal. Overall, the best hidden mom and pop restaurant in Watsonville .
