I recently received my order, so this rating is only due to the fact that none of the herbs I ordered, which was about 14, had the displayed volume in the package. I weighed each one, and every last one was short. Even if they turn out to be great, I won't buy from them again.

I love their organic Jasmine green tea, the black lava finishing salt. Ever my favorites the organic granulated garlic, and organic onion powder are wonderful. They also provide educational reading material on the source and uses for every item they sell, which is an added bonus

Ships quickly and high quality herbs. I prefer them over mountain rose because they ship almost immediately vs waiting weeks. Only thing is they only provide free shipping on orders above $250, that seems steep and frankly I wish would change. Or maybe like a free shipping coupon here and there for repeat customers, dunno. But that’s my only complaint

I'm an Herbal Physician in Arizona. I won't give a boring, long review. But I will tell you that this company just doesn't give a darn. I remember trying to deal with them years ago and found their products were poor quality as well as low customer care.If you need quality herbs, I'd stay away from this company. There's a good chance you'll get "after market" herbs. This is done by one company buying expired/inert herbs from another company and sell them for below market pricing.
I always receive the herbs as expected. They are sent in a timely fashion and I receive them fairly quickly. Their cost is extremely affordable. I always come to them first for all my herbal needs.

I have only ordered from Monterey Bay Herb twice, so far, but I am extremely happy with the products. I have been ordering teas and tisanes and have a decent selection from the so far. I don't know if I would be able to find a better ratio of quality/quantity/price anywhere. My next purchase is about 3xs as large as my to previous but I am excited to purchase all of my household spices & the spices to make my own Masala Chai spice, in bulk. I haven't tried their preblended seasonings but am going to buy a couple 1/4 packages also.
