l gave one extra star for being open on July 4th. The place was busy but food took a very long time to arrive. Eggs, sausages and house potatoes were all cold. l think we may have been forgotten. l didn't send it back in case it took another 30 minutes.

Went back for a second time and was even better. Extremely clean and attentive. All food cooked to perfection, stop by when traveling near Watsonville. Pancakes, hashbrowns and bacon a must.

Good food and large portion sizes. It looks unassuming from the outside but Red Apple Cafe was a great choice for a big meal before a big day. We got a California Benedict, a Chorizo potato dish, and strawberry french toast.

It's a quintessential breakfast/lunch experience. The dishes are consistent and fresh with good portions .And the coffee is just fine. Service was attentive and friendly. I miss real cream pitchers for my coffee on the table tho. Times are changing.
