Best breakfast sandwich I have had in a while. Their coffee is great too. The bagel the sandwich was in had the perfect toast crunch, the bacon was precisely cooked, and the egg was pan cooked not microwaved. Absolutely great.

This place used to be fabulous but now there's a new owner (not sure when maybe around '17) and it's bad. I had the most atrocious experience, I was having a business meeting there (grab a coffee, endure a sales pitch) and went up to order a coffee and I didn't meet the minimum threshold for using a debit card. So I said oh okay I'll take that too and pointed to a baked good on display, the woman rings it up and I hand her the debit card (again) and she started yelling at me about the 5$ minimum and how I didn't hit it (with the added cookie) and she can't afford to do business like this, and then I'm like okay I'll take another one? I'm just confused and kind of timid at this point as someone is literally yelling at me instead of helping me find something that I don't want to buy that will get me to 5$. Then I walk back to the table and the guy I'm about to have to pretend I'm interested in his pitch is like "two cookies?" It was so embarrassing and horrible. I've never never spent a dollar there since. Two stars for location and the fact that I use them as a free public restroom when I'm in downtown watsonville ) I found out later that the woman who was "helping" me is the owner and that is her signature brand of customer service.

I love second street cafe. This is by far my favorite place to grab lunch downtown Watsonville. The staff and owners are super friendly and their Cobb salad is amazing. Their homemade ranch dressing is my favorite. They also have great coffee. Highly recommend!

Very dissatisfied. Place is under new ownership which I did not discover until seeing my "Panini" was not a panini at all, just a very mediocre grilled sandwich. Efforts to discuss with owner or staff were wasted due to language barriers. Rip off! Sitting to eat I wondered why the place looked so dirty and unkempt ... I'm a long term customer that will not be returning. Agree with another reviewer - put in a Starbucks. This cafe used to be my go to. Sad!

I was just there for the first time and did not have a positive experience at all. First of all, they forgot about my drink and when did make it I think they just rushed to make the first thing they could think of. I asked for a Macchiato and what I got tastes more like an espresso shot. Definitely won't be going back...

Not the same since it changed owners.. no more local art ... coffee tastes different... she only accepts debit cards if your purchase is above 5 dollars and she's not as inviting when it comes to using the coffee shop as a place to study.

Awesome little spot. They have options from premade yogurts and juices, to breakfast bites and burritos, to sandwhiches and coffee drinks. Good options, amazing prices and the food is good. Location is quirky, but worth the navigation. Will definitly be going back.
Poor wifi, poor customer service skills, no professional development and failed their most recent health inspection. Yikes. Do not eat here.

This place is the worst!! Don't waste your time and money here. The owner of this disgusting cafe needs so much learning to do. Obviously she needs to do something about those damn roaches, its so gross I've keep seeing 1 or 2 everytime I go and yet nothing is done . Ive also told her about it but she denies it , im assuming since I cannot understand wth she is saying. This place needs to be shut down and make it into a starbucks for real. The employees are really rude and disorganized ..they always run out of something. You can also hear them yell at each other which obviously makes you feel uncomfortable and not want to come back. This place is not a "Cafe" it's a fricking Zoo that everyone here doesnt know what cleanliness means, customer service, or even what food means. Shut it down permanently.

This place is great!!! I just got mango juice, the tarragon chicken sandwhich on a croissant, and a small house brew coffee. I'm pretty picky about coffee as I was a barista for 3 years and this one tasted just like home. The sandwich was sooo tasty. The employees were friendly and fast.
