I absolutely love the garlic and rosemary sourdough!!! I found this in my food box last week, now I have to see what stores here in San Jose carry it, I don't drive or I would be on their front door step every week.

I buy Sumano's Ciabatta regularly and there is nothing better than a piece of Ciabiatta toast in the morning with a cup of coffee. The bread is crispy and crunchy and the flavor is out of this world. I gave my grandson a piece of Sumano's toast and he said "Nana, this is the best piece of toast I've ever had." And it is true! Thank you Sumano's for making such a magical loaf of bread. DELICIOUS!

Terrible business! A lot of shady stuff going on here. First off terrible management, horrible working conditions, inside of warehouse disgusting some areas have rat traps, and to top it off theirs days when the power goes out or a route doesn't have enough bread for a store so they tell us to use the stale bread that has to be thrown out and switch the color tags for different ones to make customers and employees believe it's fresh bread!! Not only for Safeways chains but all stores and private restaurants and sandwiche shops! Bread is driven around in wet dirty trucks. Theirs txt messages,pictures etc as proof! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE.

They make the best bread in Santa Cruz County! My favorite is the seeded sourdough one, but they have many different kinds that will fit your tastes. They sell at local Safeways, Whole Foods, New Leafs, etc.

Sumanos Sourdough is the best sourdough I have found and I have tasted a lot of SD breads. Unfortunately, we only get it when we make a trip to Monterey or Santa Cruz because Sacramento is too far for them to distribute it here. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. For second place, Truckee Sourdough isn't too bad which we can get here. But Sumanos is the best in my opinion. Safeway, Whole Foods, many stores in the area carry it.
