Food was great! We had a brunch service with a large group. Nihari was very flavorful and the beef chucks were very enjoyable. Atmosphere was a little basic but the amazing food made up for it. Would definitely come back again!

As a tourist visiting Los Angeles all the way from India, I wanted to explore some authentic South Asian flavors—and Tawakull Tandoori absolutely blew me away! From the moment I walked in, the warm hospitality made me feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with the aroma of fresh spices welcoming you in like an old friend.

I ordered the Chicken Biryani, a Lamb Karahi, and of course, some fresh garlic naan—and every bite was bursting with flavor. The tandoori meats are perfectly marinated and cooked to juicy perfection. The spice level was just right, and you can tell everything is made fresh with real love and tradition behind it.

The staff were so friendly and attentive, even offering great suggestions for what to try as a first-timer. I also tried the mango lassi, which was the perfect refreshing finish to an already fantastic meal.

If you're in LA and craving rich, flavorful, and authentic Pakistani food, Tawakul Tandoori is a must-visit. I honestly wish I had discovered this place sooner on my trip—I'll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

Food was amazing, a few months ago I was eating there and enjoying my Nihari with naan and all of a sudden a waiter slips on nothing, before getting up I take one more bite of the nihari and get up and help him, food was so good I had to take anothe bite before actually helping him. Hope the dude is okay though

Food was overall ok ..Bihari Kabab and Daal Fry was good ..Haleem was ok. Biryani I won't recommend .. Service was ok but they didn't give chutblney or raita without asking ..

Good food with authentic vibes. The atmosphere is okay. We loved the food very much. The nihari and halim are mind-blowing.

Horrible service. I ordered takeout from this restaurant and biriyani they given me is cold and looks like they filled my order from some left over food. Once I gone there topick up food the person asked me again about food I ordered and opening all orders there and he mismatched the food . Food tastes horrible. I decided to try this place because of lots of good reviews. But it's quite disappointing...
