Good useful store. Reasonable prices.
Been a fan of Ace for a long time. Large store with a great selection of tools, gear and competitively priced inventory. Extremely knowledgeable staff and if they don't know, they find an answer to the inquiry and provide several good options. They work as a team which makes the experience a good one. I may not be able to recall all the things I have purchased from an Ace Hardware over the years but I will always recall a great experience at a business. Thank you for having a sense of ownership, pride and being good at what you all do You hire great people!
You guys need to work in your Hvac supply transccuons elbows, your sell them in your website but not in your stored or work in having them kn shelf for sale
The painting staff are quite incompetent. I had to keep coming back to without able to get the paint color I asked for. Still had to pay for all the paints I bought as they’re non refundable. They expected me to figure out the issue as I had worked there? I tried to be reasonable but honestly this place gave me too much anxiety. Not coming back for sure!
Extremely helpful employees on nearly every aisle and a relatively wide selection.
The store refuses to replace the credit card readers that do not function properly. Utter garbage.
Best customer service ever. I needed a copy of a sales receipt from 15 months back. I asked the general store manager, Brian for assistance. Within a few hours, their tech support located the receipt and emailed it to me. I am their forever, lifetime loyal customer. Thank you. Brian.
What can I say... As we all know, "Ace is the place...." and sure enough I found exactly what I wanted with several other options to boot. That particular visit I was after a length of cable so I could install another television in my bathroom. Ace hardware had a 50foot roll of coax cable which I now own in addition to a couple of other items. Thanks Ace!
I called the store at 6 pm assuming I would speak to a machine and be frustrated. I got a human. His name is Nick and he was knowledgeable and helpful. Nick answered my questions and retrieved the exact BBQ grill piece I needed and saved if for me at the contractor desk. Additionally, he thoughtfully brought an alternative model and let me choose the best one for me. Thank you, Nick, for the pleasant shopping experience.
A lot larger and more well stocked than I originally thought. That did have trouble matching the paint chip I brought in. They had a good selection of the typically used hardware item.

Employees are hard to find when you need help and usually very rude and condescending when you ask them a question, or don't bother to check if they have items in stock. If you need help finding an employee to assist you they're usually up in the front talking with each other.
I had the best Ace Hardware West LA experience today. James helped me choose my spray paint canisters and showed me different options for hooks and caster wheels. Jalen was at the register today but I'll be back tomorrow to chat about succulents. I love the new store design! Especially love how calming and serene the entire gardening section is. I get so excited to visit the store each time! Keep doing what your doing!!
I had the the best experience with Helpful Dave. I needed to carve out some camera holes for my homemade iPhone case and I came into this specific ace hardware after no success with the one near my house. But it was totally worth it. Helpful Dave was so friendly and sweet, he carved the lens holes and made my homemade iPhone case look professionally made. I know for a fact I wouldn’t get this type of customer service anywhere else
The good thing is it's probably the only shop in the west coast where you can find B&B charcoal. The bad thing is it's way overpriced and even varies in between different stores such that, at this specific branch, after tax, just for 8lb of the hickory lump one, it costs $14.22, almost $2/lb.
Hardware dudes don't have to be nice to customers, but they really don't have to be incredibly rude either. The macho-man energy is especially notable in the tool section (not joking) I'll go quickly, grab my products and hope that I don't have to seek the assistance of one of their customer service people in the electrical or tool sections.
