Great food, great service! If you can't make the early happy hour then you can make the late one! They also take pride in their appearance; it is clean, welcoming, and organized. Definitely a must try.

The asada tacos are delicious and my burrito was great! Impossible to beat this place for the flavor and price during happy hour. Margaritas are 10/10.

The food was delicious and the servings were really generous. The ambiance was nice, the place was well lighted, although it was a bit loud that you have to raise your voice during conversations. The staff were friendly and attentive.

WHERE DO ALL THE LOCALS GO? 5th Star for the great tequila selection as we decided on Mexican because our dinner was on National Margarita Day. Those who know me will be saying "That Terry.... Any Excuse for a good adult beverage". And you know what? They are correct. Here is my story: Altos Cantina was selected as it was in good proximity to our hotel and convenient enough for the Sacto folk joining us. Altos is a local establishment; parking plentiful and atmosphere friendly and comfortable. They also have patio dining which would be great in the spring and summer. Service is excellent from the moment you walk in to the Establishment. Now about the food. Be careful not to over order as portions are HUGE. Guacamole made fresh on each order. Tortilla chips are also home made. Be sure to try the double fried french fries nachos. A definite repeat for me next time I'm there.

OMG Finally a good Mexican restaurant near my office. Formerly The Sail Inn on Jefferson Avenue in West Sacramento. I ate there about 2 weeks ago and I have not stopped thinking about it since. I love chile rellenos and theirs are amazing! My family all loved their food. My brother got the carnitas plate, my sister got a carnitas burrito, and my Stepmom got tacos. Today I finally went back and just had to have the chile rellenos again. Even better this time. This location is where businesses seem to go to die, so try it and tell your friends. You won’t regret it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful atmosphere. Jocelyn was so nice and friendly. Chips and salsa were so tasty. Horchata was also delicious. We got the California burrito and the red enchiladas, I'd have both again!Vegetarian options: You can remove meat from most of their dishes. We had a great California burrito and red enchiladas!

We live in the area so really wanted to try this place out especially since we have small kids now, somewhere close and good will be great for us. We came on a Sunday evening for dinner and it was not busy thankfully. The chips and salsa were good. We ordered the Baja Fish Tacos (Shrimp and Fish), Sandia, Strawberry, and Classic Lime Margaritas, Asada Tradicional, Street Tacos-Carne Asada, Birria, Chorizo, Pastor, and Carnitas, Chicken Burrito Bowl, Chicken Taco Plate, Shrimp a la Kora, and Carne Asada Torta Taquera. The manager Andres was amazing with us and they can cater to large groups. Really looking forward in making this a regular spot and for more family events since it's so close to home and easy with small children!

Parking: Small parking lot that fills up fast, there is plenty of street parking, but it is a busy street, please be careful!

Great food and a great price. Glad to see a joint like this open up in west sac. The service is fantastic and happy to give them my business anytime.
While the atmosphere and service are really great, I'm not a fan of the food here. Not terrible, but not really great either.
