There’s truly no better place for donuts than City Donuts. I cross the bridge from Sacramento just to come here — that’s how good they are. The donuts are always fresh, delicious, and made with care. If they ever happen to be out of my favorite donut, they’ll even make it fresh for me on the spot! The service is just as good as the donuts — friendly, fast, and thoughtful. City Donuts has definitely earned a loyal customer in me.
Best donuts in Sacramento area, hands down. Get there at 4:30am when they open, however, and you might be getting left over donuts from the day before. Best time to go seems to be 6-8am when the donuts are hot out of the oven and there is still a huge variety available.

Today, unfortunately, one of the donuts was extremely greasy. Oil was squishing out 😣
