Not sure why this place isn't packed all the time. The foods genuinely great. I get the Western Bacon Cheeseburger, sub the protein with Crispy Chicken instead of beef. My wife likes the Fish and Chips.

This place is a neighborhood bar. I thought the reviews were very deceiving. Service is ok - as there was only 1 person for all the people at the bar plus a couple tables. Drinks were meh - not all drinks are on happy hour on Sundays either. Food is ok. Maybe because I was hungry. But no , not coming back here. There are lots of other laces to be.

Sunday in search of the NFL ticket brought us to Jefferson Bar. After a little surf searching we picked this place because they had both breakfast and lunch options available on a Sunday morning. Nope! Not true. They no longer have brunch as mentioned on their website and no longer have coffee because they can't compete with the restaurant down the street. Honestly, if that was the reason, why would they have opened at all?? Why would you have burgers and sandwiches if another restaurant down the street has them? I have to tell you if you are going here to watch the game, bring ear plugs! This place is loud to begin with because there is nothing in the decor to absorb sound. Throw in some rabid, foul mouthed fans and it's total mayhem. All that said, the food here is nothing to write home about. Our server did a heckuva job though considering she was the only server/bartender on the floor. She gets a gold star bumping this up from a three star review.

First time here. This place was amazing. We ordered a patty melt witg garlic fries & a BLT with onions rings. Onions rings are so delicious. The Place was clean with great music playing. The bartender & only server was awesome. Can't wait to come back.

Wedge salad, fries and Clarksburg wine for me. Everything was great. The atmosphere was friendly with the football game on. Staff are best. We will come again for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Props to the single bartender that was running the whole show. She had to keep all the patrons happy, glasses full, and come out to the floor and take food orders from people like my wife and I that came for dinner. The food came pretty quickly. She had the fish and chips, and I had the crispy chicken sandwich. Mine was sized well and tasty. She commented that her breaded fish was better than the fish she got at another restaurant last week. We both got too many fries and ended up tossing over half away. They do not have brewed ice tea, which was surprising for a bar. Only the Fanta stuff from the soda dispenser. We did love all the old photos of West Sac they have on the wall, but we will probably not be back. Just too noisy in there. Mostly because the ceiling and walls reflect all the racket, there is nothing to absorb the sound.

We went in a few weeks ago for Bar Trivia and had to wait 20 minutes for our check all while one of the servers was socializing at a table. We finally had to walk up to the bar to get our check. We went back tonight and it was a slow night. We sat right at the bar and ordered a second drink when our food came. People at the end of the bar were getting their drinks and people who just walked up got their drink but still no drink was brought to us. I asked a second time for a drink and instead, the group at the end of the bar was served more drinks. I finally asked the server why we weren't getting a drink and why my girlfriend spent her entire meal without anything to drink and was told "I'm sorry. I'm really tired." Apparently not so tired that they couldn't serve everyone else around us. Worse, they did nothing to try to make it right. No offer of a free drink or a discount on our order. How can you be a server and not notice the empty glass in front of you for 20 minutes and not offer a refill especially after you have been asked TWICE for a drink? I would not recommend this place if you are thirsty.

This place is NOT dog friendly. I brought my dog and the staff there treated her so poorly. Literally would not walk by. I ordered a margarita and it was so bland a flavorless. Basically just tasted like sugar water. Drank half of it and left

The service at this little bar was absolutely incredible! Small but very clean with a lot of personality. The onion rings are absolutely fantastic. I had a western bacon burger and it was very good. my husband ordered the pastrami sandwich and it was good as well. I didn't give them five stars because my order was wrong on two different things and then it was still on my bill...I paid extra for garlic fries and I never received them. Instead of the waitress taking the two dollars off and she simply left it on there. For me just a matter of principle. Because it was $2 I just let it go but noted to make sure you get what you order. Absolutely great bar with good music. looking for someplace different to go in West Sacramento great spot.l to watch a game. Also they started karaoke so that will be a fun addition.
