I have loved this place long before they arrived in west sac. The Freeport location has been feeding me for a while. The breakfast burritos are a tremendous value. I especially enjoy the machaca burrito, it’s always bomb dizzle. I miss the adobada burrito I used to get. I assume they switched their meat supplier or something like that as it’s just not the same as it used to be. I still order it once in a while but I’ll get one or two bites that just have a different texture or something and it doesn’t hit right. Their green sale is the hot one and it’s delicious. Can’t go wrong with a bacon burrito and it will keep you full all day, or if you’re like me it will cause a deep nap.
I recommend Oscar’s for sure.

You know I love this place. They remind me of the original that was on Freeport Blvd. That restaurant is still there, but they are brand new and don't seem to carry the original brand before they were remodeled.
This restaurant is small. The place is a little out-dated, but the food is great. I usually get the bacon breakfast burrito and it's huge!! They have a fountain soda machine for refills and a chips and salsa area to compliment your order. There is one non-gender restroom which is great to me.
The menu and prices are right on the counter and next time I want to try the Chorizo breakfast burrito. The hot salsa is very flavorful and much better than the Freeport location.
You can call ahead and order for pickup if you need. Very yummy!! Give it a try!!

Not Mexican at all, got enchilada combo chicken was thigh and large parts, sauce was nowhere near a mole sauce co person got carne asada supreme burrito 3 hard meat pieces, full of cabbage. We left it all all $29.00 of terrible food. Their silverware is plastic so paper thin hard to use without breaking.

It says "very Mexican", but it totally isn't. The food had zero flavor and the salsa bar was just watery tasteless salsa.

I didn't like the cashier, it was a male attending the front, he was extremely rude, I still didn't mind it as the Freeport location is my favorite to dine at. However this location's food sucks, food was super greasy, had a disgusting flavor and is everything opposite to the Freeport location, thay should change the name of this location as to not tarnish the great a wonderful restaurant Freeport location is. This place sucks! Again go to Freeport, it's worth the drive, I WILL NEVER RETURN! To this location at least.

We picked up dinner from this location tonight. The food was very bland. Their #18 burrito and my #6 fajita (beef) combination plate had no flavor. I thought if I drenched my combo plate with their salsa, it would give it some taste... no luck. Not to mention my plate was $16.50 for a very small portion, barley any meat. The customer service was good. I just really wanted Mexican food tonight but I didn't get the "very Mexican food" that was advertised on their building slogan. So sad.....?

I've grown up in the Sacramento area all my life and everyone knows Oscars. Either the one on harbor blvd or across the street from McClatchy highschool. Burritos have always been huge and a great price. Can't get your ca burritos anywhere else. I always call in a phone order so I can go in the drive thru for the harbor blvd location. It's off the corner before getting on 80 west so super convenient. The drive thru is super narrow and sometimes there's suspicious people walking by. But the burritos are schmack!!
