What a great place to have a drink and support your vets! Bartender Vanessa and Kelly are supper attentive! Drinks are cheap and flow effortlessly. Felicia in the kitchen makes the best chicken tenders in the game! This is a west sac institution and a must stop if you're in the area. 10/10 recommend!!

It pains me to write this review. I'm a military supporter, lover of all things American and definitely believe our Veterans need a place of their own to go and hang out with their peers. I've been at this location a few too many times in use of their rented space, as I have extended family who live in West Sacramento. Most recently it was my cousins memorial service luncheon. In the recent past, I've had some major medical issues to include open heart surgeries. I don't expect the bartenders to know this. I walked in at 1pm with a large paper cup of water that I had purchased at the gas station prior to attending. I was early and knew there would be some waiting. I was immediately 'told' by no fewer than 4-5 patrons and the bartender simultaneously that my drink would have to stay outside. When I attempted to go to the bartender to show her that it was water, explain my reasoning and ask if she would make an exception.. she and her customers were so rude and offensive it stopped me. I immediately went outside and waited. Of course there are huge signs inside and outside explaining there are no drinks allowed outside. This was just the beginning of a very unpleasant experience that included a 6oz plastic cup of water I had to pay for, the media screen in the event hall not working so we had to watch on a small tv screen in the bar with drunk patrons, and a whole list of other things I could nitpick, but know our Veterans don't deserve this. So why do I write a review? If it's your event space that you count on to raise the necessary funds to create the space for your hang out... try customer service. Good Customer Service. Keep your drunks in line during your money making events and teach your bartenders some customer service skills. Lastly, work on the facilities.

This place is so much fun! I come for Zydeco and that is great enough. But, they have fabulous folks to help you with food and drink. Particularly Vanessa, the Bartendress and Monique with food! Everyone is helpful and kind. And the Funky Gators who played for our Zydeco dance pleasure, were fantastic! Come and try it out for yourselves!

I love coming to this place! They have karaoke every first and third Friday! It gets pretty crackin for a vfw! There's a pretty mixed crowd as welll. All ages go into that place.
