We love this hamburger stand. It has been around for 60 years, and it is easy to see why. Great food and service. They recently updated the seating area, and it looks really nice. The only problem is they do not have a restroom, so don't drink your soda very fast! They do get very busy sometimes, so expect to wait a few minutes for your food.

Burger was nasty! Nothing good about it. Burnt bacon was chewy and tasted old. The fries were horrible. Half were old and the other half were fresh mixed together. The deep-fried mushrooms were not only horrible, but there was like five or six tiny mushrooms for $4.75. Whoever told me this place had a great burger, has no idea what they're talking about. This is perhaps the worst burger I've ever had in my life. Sorry I have to be honest. It was my first and only visit that is definite. so many better burger joints in Sacramento, seriously. Probably a good place to maybe get an ice cream, but definitely not the place to get a burger.

I've been hyped to come eat here since I've heard people talk about it, I always see the lines, and it's popular on the 'Tok. They play nice classic music from the 50's and 60's which really gives you a retro vibe. They had a line right at opening! Their hours are a bit strange but luckily they are open on Saturdays now. They have tables in front of the ordering area so you can enjoy your meal. The parking lot is decently sized and the employees are friendly. The flavor of the burger was amazing. It's like one of those 'crushed' patties, almost reminds me of a juicy BBQ cookout burger on Fourth of July. The curly fries were extra crispy and had great flavor. The Oreo milkshake was authentic™, it used real ice cream and even had bits of Oreo in it. It was very thick but I enjoyed it, especially since they give you a straw capable of sucking it. The prices are amazing. Regular burgers are like $3? Better than McDonald's or In-N-Out prices now. Some "gourmet" burgers at like Burgers and Brew are like $15 so these are a steal! You can walk out of here full for under $20 for a meal for two which is unheard of in 2024. Inflation hasn't gotten to Whitey's yet and I hope it never does. I will most definitely be coming back. Bottom Line/TLDR: great burgers and even better prices.

Food is so good. Takes a little longer than normal but that's how you know it's fresh! Service is great, they are always so nice even when it's busy. Pineapple milkshakes are the best.

Great burgers, fries & onion rings. Service is slow only because they’re busy. Atmosphere minimal only because it’s on a busy, noisy road. They have added more tables (outside only though) if you like, but I prefer enjoying at home.

My grandmother is in the late stages of cancer, barely eats most days. With out question she will never pass up a chance to have a burger from this place. Glad to see the family still keeping it the same feels and flavors of long ago. We will always go to this establishment as long as it is around.Parking: Enough parking especially for where it is located.Kid-friendliness: Nice open out door seating for you to wait on your order that allows the kids to be out of the vehicle to stretch their legs and enjoy some fresh air.

Ordered the Whitey's special, chili cheese fries, and Oreo shake. Now I know to order ahead next time because you will wait if you don't. The burger and shake were worth the wait though. Classic double patty burger with bacon. They perfected the OG burger. The Oreo shake was out of this world. The CC fires were good but not something I would order again. Plenty of seating outside but it was really cold so I ate in my car haha. Will be back to try more items.

This has been my favorite spot sense I was a kid. No where else can you get a hot Chihuahua. I'm getting hungry thinking about it.

Whiteys jolly Kone has been a favorite since I was young! Their milkshakes are always delicious as well as their food. The staff are always friendly and smiling, a great business.

I really love the ambiance of this place! I've only recently started coming here, but my family and I have enjoyed every visit since. The wait can be long, so plan ahead of time to wait or order online to save a couple of minutes. The food is pretty yummy-- we especially like their onion rings, jalapeño poppers and curly fries but their milkshakes omg!!! Their milkshakes are absolutely golden and arguably the best in Sac!! :)

This is a great place to get a burger to make sure you have a little time to spare because you will wait but the food is worth it
