September 2024 We did not stay at the hotel, we stayed down the street at the Inn, same owners. We attended a wedding there. It was a small wedding, under 40 people. Everything was awesome. The small staff at the hotel were amazing. The food was great, as was the service. We had breakfast there, and the wedding dinner. The wedding party people who stayed at the hotel loved it. We did see in one room, it looked very nice. I highly recommend this place.

This place is an absolute gem!!!! The scones in the morning are incredible, hot breakfast is delicious, rooms are clean and comfortable, view is stunning, staff is kind and helpful, and the old abalone pub is great. This was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway! Highly recommend - 10/10!

I've only seen the hotel rooms and haven't ever stayed at the hotel, but it's in a very scenic location, and has an excellent restaurant and pub. This is a place you go to when you really want to get away from crowds and traffic, and enjoy an idealic setting with a lot of seaside solitude and nature. There's a beautiful ocean view, of course, and lots of time for self-reflection and peace and quiet. It's a beautiful, unique place that I will always treasure in my memories of visits to Mendocino County..

We had dinner here. The staff, location, and service were great, but the food was middle of the road. I had the fish tacos, They were kind of tasteless. Both my wife's and my food needed something, and we're not that picky.
My stay at Westport Hotel was wonderful. The Lodge manager Kayla was so welcoming and treated me like family. The homemade hot scones and coffee (delivered on a silver tray to my room) were the perfect way to start my day followed by a delicious big breakfast downstairs in the charming dining room. Kayla suggested a morning hike along the bluffs that had gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean. That night I had perfectly grilled fish tacos and a lovely local wine in the pub. There was live music and a great atmosphere. Later that night I watched a spectacular meteor shower from my balcony. This hotel is a gem and I will definitely come back. Five stars!

The Westport Hotel is wonderful! Five stars for the manager Kayla. She is so welcoming and made me feel like family. Homemade hot scones were the perfect way to wake up, followed by a delicious omelette downstairs in the charming dining room. Kayla suggested a beautiful 3-mile hike along the bluffs after breakfast. The views of the Pacific Ocean were gorgeous. That night I ate fish tacos in the pub, listened to live music and watched a meteor shower from my balcony. I hated to leave but life calls. I will definitely return to Westport Hotel.

Enjoyed our dinner at the Old Abalone pub, and our morning tea tray with fresh baked strawberry scones. Staff is attentive and friendly. A morning walk on the black sand beach before heading on our way into the redwoods.
