Cool spot to grab a bite or just chill. The breakfast bowl was a good size and delicious. The decor and vibe was welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!

Great Ruben and excellent service and atmosphere
Great food that hits the spot after a long day of adventures. Prices are a bit high but the food was worth it. We had a really awesome waitress that made the experience fun. The decor is beautiful and matches the energy of the Trees Of Mystery located across the road.

Very nice staff and a very clean establishment. But it seems since the store in Susanville opened the Blue Ox in Westwood has been neglected. Myself, my mother, stepfather, and a few neighbors have noticed the quality of the food and the selection has gone down. The sandwiches are stale often and the milkshakes are extremely “runny”, I guess that would be a world to describe it, and lacks flavor. I really hope this place turns around and starts providing the quality they once had. I hate to give this place a poor review, they’ve been great in the past. But with more customers in Susanville I think the Westwood location will be closing their doors soon.

Ordered two entrees to go. Server was friendly but service was slow. Food was pricey for the portions and not great. Asked for avocado instead of meat and was charged extra. Side sauces/jams on menu not included our order. Maybe this place is good for locals or folks who need a pit stop but I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to come here.

Disappointing. Frozen reheated hotel breakfast style meal, served on paper plates. From the menu and prices and decor you would expect a lot nicer. $75 breakfast for two adults and two babies.

My go to spot any time I'm going through Westwood. The owner is the sweetest, and her staff are always very kind and helpful! The coffee is delicious, and the food was amazing!
I was also able to get some shopping done , and support another local business in her shop:)

So I’m giving this a 2 star simply because my fiancé and I went two days in a row, the first day I got a Salted Carmel Frappe and it was absolutely terrible . There was nothing but an inch of Carmel at the bottom of my cup (the Carmel ended up getting completely hard about halfway thru the drink) , the whipped cream was disgustingly thick and fatty , the frappe itself tasted so watery , I didn’t taste hardly any coffee , and also not to mention that their straws are not meant for coffee , they’re restaurant grade soda straws . Today , the second day , we decided to try the red bull boba drinks , which are actually pretty good , but no boba straw ? What drink shop offers boba drinks but doesn’t have straws so you can actually drink your drink AND get the boba , that’s the entire point of putting boba in the drink ?

They charged me $7 more for my sandwich then the price advertise online. I ordered a Monte Cristo because it's rare to see it on a menu and I hadn't had one for a long time. I was disappointed.
When I got to my car and opened the box to look at my sandwich there was a long black hair in between the bread and the meat in my sandwich.
I know that this can happen anywhere even at home but if you have long hair you should have it up in a net any hair should be up in a net when handling food.
I was very hungry and had to get to work so I only ate the half of the sandwich that didn't have the hair in it. The French toast with soggy but the sandwich was stacked with a good amount of ham.
Also the house salad was just a bunch of the innermost leaves of the lettuce head and were bitter.
Also the people that worked there looked unkempt. I realize this is in the mountains but food service workers should at least look neat.
This is my first bad review of a place.

Your dark chocolate truffles are absolutely divine. Your sugar free dark chocolate is the very first sugar free anything that I truly enjoyed. I am so glad you are uptown Susanville! Five Star Chocolate! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Bought a great cup of coffee and a biscotti, was great.
