It is very difficult to find authentic Italian food in this area. Having lived in New Jersey and New York I have had the best Italian dishes ever! Our good friends recommended Angelos. Pesto was definitely not the real deal. Not a hint of pine nuts, parm, or garlic. Very disappointing 😞 My husband is not feeling so well early this morning. If you get my drift?! Bread was stale. Oil and balsamic vingar was not even enough to serve a mouse. Service was subpar. Ordered a pizza to go. It was soggy and the meat was hard. Pricey menu. That is to be expected, then again we live in California. Angelos will not be included on our next date night. Anthony's in Murrieta will be next Fridays dinner date!
Very disappointing 😞
I had never been before and when I called our order in, my questions were patiently answered. We were not disappointed by our choices! The pizza was crisp and delicious and the wings were out the park!!!!

This visit was not as great as past visits. It has been at least a year since our last visit. Always good, friendly service when we go. Menu has not changed at all in the past couple years but they always have specials. The appetizers were delicious. The steak was not done as requested. The calzone was crispy and flavorful but the end pieces only had cheese. It seems all the spinach and olives were only in the middle. The cannolis were not crisp which was really disappointing as they usually are delicious. Great strong cocktails! Really uncomfortable chairs at the tables.

My wife and I had dinner there and it was really nice. Would have given 5 stars but for their desert. I had a cannoli that was disappointing as I expected more authentic filling from a Sicilian themed restaurant. We felt the desert overpriced and only slightly tasty. The shell was good, but it's all in the filling that makes the cannoli authentic, and this was far from that

Pizza was soggy and not good, first time I have ever not eaten a second piece, the gnocchi were dense and gummy and the sauce lacked flavor, most likely will not be going back. Service was excellent and we were not charged for the terrible pizza.

Been a couple months since we last had their pizza before tonight. Not only have the pizzas gotten smaller but they also raised the price. I understand things are more expensive, but choose one or the other. Might be the last time for us!
The service was a little slow but it was very busy when we were there. Great food.

I brought a few friends here for dinner, great atmosphere and the wood‑fired pizza definitely stood out. The crust was light and crispy, and toppings tasted fresh and flavorful. A biit on the pricey side for a 12″ pie, but quality mostlyy justifies it. Service was friendly, though order timing felt a bit slow during the busy evening. overall, a solid choice if you’re after authentic Italian with a cozy vibe.

This pizza place is delicious, well run, and I have never gotten a bad meal here.
You have to be careful if you are thinking that you are getting a traditional pizza with the pizzas that are on the back of the menu. If the menu does not say tomato sauce then you are not getting tomato sauce. You might be getting olive oil or white sauce.
But really my favorite thing to do is buy their cheesy breadsticks and add a topping. Then it comes with marinara sauce on the side to dip.
My very favorite thing is the burrata and pesto appetizer. It is very simple, It comes on a wooden board. The burrata is delicious. The pesto is homemade or at least it tastes like it, The only thing is is that the bread that comes with it is just okay. I usually order the cheesy garlic bread and that is what I use to eat the burrata.
Overall it is a simple place that has great service they have a little bar in the corner if you want to drink. One time we were there in there was a family having a huge party in the side room so if you want to have a party that's also an option.

Excellent! Fresh pasta made in-house. Wood-fired pizza. Decent selection of craft beers. Friendly staff. The owner (Angelo) greets everyone. Great place for the entire family.
