I have not been able to find another burger that compares the mushroom burger anywhere. It holds a special place in my heart. The jalapeño cream cheese wonton are fantastic. Peter is such a friendly face to see behind the counter. This place is iconic.

I drove over 3 hours to try their western burger, and it was well worth it !!! I also had the onion rings, and deep fried zucchini, washed down with a shake. Fat boy gotta eat!!! My family had a great trip !

Tasty roadside food with great fries, good burgers and yummy milkshakes! Only outdoor dining and if you need to use the restroom, stop at Starbucks less than 1/2 mile away. Trust me, you will thank me for the tip.

I very much liked my lettuce wrapped 101 Jalapeno Burger. I would choose this over a protein-style in-n-out burger any day! The price point was very reasonable, but not as low as the other burger chain I'm already comparing it to. My husband thought his cheeseburger was good and satisfying too, but not something he'd go out of his way for. This place does hit the spot though after driving an hour on CA-20 E to get back to the 101. I'd recommend if you're passing by!
