It was a great little spot. Ordered the Chicago dog and being from Chicago. I was skeptical, but I like the ingredients. It did not disappoint! It was spot on! They’re very friendly staff. Great experience overall highly recommend.

This place has the best ambiance, sandwiches, milkshakes, service, and more! We are so glad we happened upon this place. Now it is our go-to stopover lunch every time we are headed up to the Humboldt Redwoods. The people who run this place are so nice and generous. Best place for lunch in Northern California!!!! Food is always delicious, Service is always fast, friendly, & perfect, Location & ambiance are excellent! A true gem!!! My favorite is their chicken pesto, but EVERYTHING the Loose Caboose serves is spot on!!!

We are speechless. The spiciness in the barbecue sauce in the orient express was well balanced, the conductor was a perfect modification on a blt, and the hot dog we had was incredible. Our friend ordered a root beer float. We don’t like root beer floats. It was delightful.
That my favorite place for food in Willits they have the best sandwichs even the vegetarian ones, I love the European style atmosphere.

If you are reading this review you are probably on The 101 headed south to the Wine Country or North to the Redwoods, maybe even a trip to the Mendocino Coast….in any event do not hesitate to visit this charming Lunch hideaway in Willits! Excellent hospitality, great food and the ambiance are top shelf! Thank me by posting your own review after a visit….when the highway build out created a freeway around Main Street, it has been hard on these Highway driven businesses.
