I have got food to go here now 5 times. They have a large menu of food and drinks. They have a salsa bar with 6 types of salsa. They even have choices of tortilla shells depending on what you order. Yummy! They are fast and friendly. I look forwards to going there for a sit down meal so I can try drinks and other meals. I usually order the macho burritos or suoer to take home.
Mi Mexico Restaurant 144 North Main St Willits, CA 95490 On our visit to Willits, CA we stopped at Mi Mexico Restaurant to have lunch. The building exterior is clean and presentable, the parking is available. On entry to the restaurant, we found it clean, tidy, and inviting. There is only one seated couple against the window. We wait to be acknowledged and seated but the young woman seems to ignore us. My wife asked if we can seat ourselves to which she responds anywhere. We select a table and wait for a menu. After a few minutes none is presented to us, so my wife goes to the register to request one. She is told; I’ll be with you soon. OK, not a polite response. We wait a few more minutes before the young woman arrives with the menu. We make our selection of the sampler plate and combo plate with tamal and mole enchilada and a glass of water for each of us. The sampler plate is large and generous. My wife enjoyed the food. The Combo plate had over-cooked carne asada and the chicken in the tamal was tasteless. The rice and beans were enjoyable. Customer service was poor; my food order was not enjoyable. I will not visit again.

Come for the chilaquiles stay for the quesabirria. Their salsa bar is the best in town! Their food reminds me of when I was in the Nayarit area of Mexico. One of the best Mexican restaurants in town! (which is a big deal because Willits has over 10 of them) A cute date spot or go solo and enjoy the comfy booth with a book. :) I haven't tried their homemade tortillas yet but bonus for having them.

Nice to have Vegan/Vegetarian Options. Food was actually Hot! We rarely get hot burritos. The restaurant is immaculate. Server was the sweetest and it was quick but we didn’t go at a very busy time. The only few things I wish they had was fountain drinks/ice, the music to be louder (it was kind of uncomfortably low) and outdoor seating would knock this place out of the water. Overall fabulous place.
