Stopped here tonight for dinner. I eat here fairly often because I’m constantly driving back and forth from Sacramento to Fort Bragg, and this has usually been one of my favorite spots to stop.
Unfortunately tonight’s experience wasn’t great. The older woman working the front was very uninviting and made me feel like I wasn’t welcome. This actually isn’t the first time I’ve felt that way during one of her shifts. I normally come earlier in the day when the younger servers are working, and the service is usually much better.
The cooks did a great job tonight — the food was good as always. I left a $14 tip on a $27 check for the kitchen because I appreciated the meal. I still left a $5 tip for the server because I didn’t want to leave nothing, but honestly the service is the reason I’ll avoid coming in when she’s working.
I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously, because I’ve always liked stopping here and would prefer to keep coming back.

I stopped at this location on the word of some foodies from Fort Bragg who told me this place is a most. I decided to give this place a shot as I was curious what this place located next to the gas station was about. As I was pulling up I saw prices like $7.99 and above. I was amazed to find a place where you could find a meal for under $10. I went with my go to meal as I always do when I tryout a new Mexican food establishment. My favorite meal is a Carne Asada burrito if by chance you were curious. When I received my meal I was amazed by the size of the burrito. The food also comes with chips and Salsa, might I say the salsa is pretty tasty also, be careful the hit might be hot, but don't say I didn't warn you. The drinks vary here from American sodas to Mexican sodas all the way to horcata. The start tacos at this location look amazing also, I wish I had the time to try all on this menu. The workers at this location are very kind and make you feel very welcomed when you enter restaurant. The only bad thing I could see about this place is that the homeless and the low life people walk out front of this place as the head to the gas station next door as they are trying to use the restroom there, don't let that scare you away from this magical place that I love and visit quite often. Did I mention you can also order your food and sit outside as there are a couple of tables. Hard not to enjoy your food with the beautiful weather of Willits. Once you give this place a shot I promise you that you will go back for more. The cashier is nice. There are 3 big containers of drinks on the counter where you order your food. They are: Horchata, an orange-colored agua fresca, and a yellow-colored agua fresca. I had the orange one. It was delicious and tasted of cantaloupe. My friend had the yellow one and liked it. I assume the flavor is pineapple, but I'm not sure.
The tacos are delicious, too. I had al pastor tacos and chicken tacos.
We got lunch to-go and it came with some chips and salsa (both red and green) in a bag with some napkins and plastic forks.
The only downside is that the tacos were on paper plates, and the plates got soggy by the time I ate the tacos. Although, they did sit in the car for a while between buying them and eating them. Still, the plate made a mess on the counter and table because the liquid seeped out under the plate. Also, the tacos sometimes got stuck to paper of the plates.

Nice place just didn’t like my burrito. I got chicken burrito with beans and it wasn’t to my liking. Salsa is good and spicy. Chips tasted weird like they were old.

I really love their food here and nice service! But the last 3 times I ordered here, my order was wrong when I get home. My only request is no onions. But it always comes with onions. This last time I went to pick up my order, there was a huge extra onion on top. And even worse, no cilantro and dry lime :,( after I left $5 tip. Realllllllyy bummed bc I was craving their tacos today too - and they just didn't hit the spot like I had anticipated.
I recommend the food here and will still order here but I will just have to be sure to check my order before leaving and before tipping from now on.

Great food.. I recommend Queso Barria. It was available as a special and very yummy! They also sell Lengua, if you like it, its usually hard to find. Reasonably priced. Food to-go was ready without too much of a wait.
4 STARS!! One of the 2 best Mexican restaurant in Willits hands down! Try their Carnitas or Pasole!🤤 The only thing that's always frustrating is the VERY limited parking.
My wife and I always stop at this Taqueria when we drive through Willits. We come this way maybe once or twice a year, but throughout the year we always talk about how good their food is. For me, the super steak burrito is to die for. I’ll be headed up that way soon for my birthday and that is the first stop We’re making on our trip up north.
