I'm wondering if this is the normal practice for the Last Stand... or were we just the lucky ones?
We have been coming here for years...
This was the 1st time we have been so disappointed ... Appeared, the waitress didn't want to be there...? Or just the unhappy being that the Last stand was unfortunate enough to have hired....😢 She glared when we first walked in .....
We should have walked away then ...nothing good Was going to come of this..
There were two small groups ahead of us. Six people total. The waitress, the long dark haired short gal finally came over 3-4 minutes after we sat down. Took our order then After 20 minutes of not even getting drinks...
Bill went up and asked for at least the waters.... Everyone got their food. Even the couple that walked in probably 15 minutes after us. We never got our drinks and After 30 minutes or more still No drinks or food, we left ... We never got any food. And it didn't appear we were ever going to. Never got any response from the waitress who didn't appear busy as she was playing on her phone leaning against the counter most of the time. She did look our way a few times and promptly looked away . She never came to check on us ... Not many places to eat in Willows now there's one less for us.

1st time here visiting the racetrack for the day...I had bacon double cheese burger was fantastic! It was honestly a solid burger. Great local folks hanging looked like everyone was having fun. This is now my goto when i am up at Thunderhill...

Our group walked in just before closing on Sunday night, and yet we were treated to super good food and beer. The young lady working the counter was over the top friendly and provided amazing service. Ouf of the 5 restaurants we tried that weekend, this one was the tops!

It's been a couple years since we've been down to the Last Stand... it's still a funky kool place... Young lady, who took our order (Patty Melt & Rings / 2 sodas) was a bright and shiny face ❤️. I mentioned my wife and I were sharing the meal and the order came out split in 2 different boats (great communication on her part with the kitchen) 👍 Food was good and the condiment sauces 6 pack was the star of the food show 👍 👍 Note To The Manager/and or/owners: our 1 sandwich 1 side meal took 25 mins to be delivered. It appeared there were several big Phone / To-Go orders before us. It also appeared there was only 1 cook (who was doing more than just cooking) she was packaging & delivering all the To-Go customers as well... I would suggest that someone should have bailed her out, during that rush period. Note 2 to the boss: In the past, we've eaten out on the patio (picnic tables) - could not do that on this trip because all the tables (except for 1) that was occupied, had no umbrellas... and it was a warm afternoon. Question: didn't you have canvas sheets (like the bandstand area) over the entire patio, at one time? 🤔 Love the vibe of this place (and your employees), we will be back!
