The mushu was terrific but every item on the Mongolian plate tasted stale and freezer burned

Made a pit stop here on the drive up I-5 and I'm so glad I did. The food was hot and delicious, the service was fast, and the atmosphere was genuinely cozy in a clean and tidy dining room. I had a House special plate and ALL of the items were delicious. The hot and sour soup was thick and perfectly flavored for me with lots of nibbly ingredients. The egg roll was crisp and meaty, and tbh I don't usually like egg rolls. Noodles and fried rice also excellent. Cashew chicken entrée was a-ok.
This place is about an hour from us but we'll definitely go back. It's definitely worth stopping to eat here if you are in the area.

Menu online is outdated showing prices much cheaper than they are. Beef and broccoli was 95 percent broccoli and some of the worst tasting beef and broccoli I’ve ever had. My rice was old stale, dry, and tasted awful.

Wongs is an older place and it shows, but they keep it super clean and that is all I care about. It is pretty comfortable and never seems to be busy. They do a lot of delivery and take away. We enjoyed eating there in peace and quiet.
The service is pretty good, a tad slow and seemingly confused, but they got our order right and it was very good and we would go again. There is not a lot on this street, it is mostly for overnight travelers it seems.
We enjoyed all our food. The BBQ pork and beef was super good and we will have that again. The shrimp with cashews was excellent. The give you plenty of cashews. We had a chicken fried rice that was very good and fresh.
We also loved their hot and sour soup and their eggrolls. This is traditional Chinse, not fancy, just very good at fair prices.
Have fun.

Friendly service, and we were seated right away. Everything was delicious, and the portions were great for the price. Quiet and family friendly. Would definitely come back again.
