I ordered the Blanco queso burrito and had to spit it out and stop eating it halfway through because I kept getting mouthfuls of chopped, very sharp-ended bones! I could have choked to death or seriously been injured. Thank goodness I ordered something else for my child. What the heck El Pollo Loco! Do better!!!

First and last time eating at El Pollo Loco. Bought my son a kid's meal, he was eating the chicken when he noticed an extremely long black hair in his food. Really grossed out, don't think we will be back.

Went here for Taco Tuesday on 11/4, they actually ran out of Crunchy Tacos, Unbelievable....!!!! They had none in stock , Crazy ....

I am not sure why this place wouldn't have 5 stars. I've been here close to 50 times so far and from all of those times, there has been one small error in our order. Keep in mind, that we order half of the menu every time we have a big family. Always fresh, tasty, and on time with amazing service. Thank you!!
Edit: 5 months later and its still amazing nothing changed but how much more we ate here. Also wanted to shout out Gabriel for always being great.

We ordered a meal, which consisted of 8 pieces, 3 sides and churros. When we drove off, we thought we were given everything. When we arrived at the soccer field we were going to, we found no forks, no plates, no napkins and one large side was completely missing. All we were able to eat was the churros and the chicken drumsticks. Not having the plates, utensils and napkins was frustrating, especially since we weren't even asked if we wanted them or not, but not being given one of the large sides was very upsetting.

On August 21 around 11:53 AM, I had the pleasure of being helped by Collean at the El Pollo Loco on Winchester Road in Winchester, California. We ordered one double chicken tostada combo, one guacamole burrito, two chicken avocado tacos, and one crunchy chicken taco. Our order was taking a little longer than expected, but Collean noticed right away and went above and beyond by giving me two hot, fresh churros while we waited. It was such a thoughtful gesture and really brightened my day!
The food was absolutely delicious as well everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Having worked in customer service myself, I really appreciate when someone delivers such genuine, kind, and attentive service. Collean made our visit memorable, and she absolutely deserves a big shout-out. Even though this review is a little late, I didn’t forget her excellent service!

I come here all the time out of convenience, especially after the gym. Employees are very nice; however, my order is either missing something or is wrong 50% of the time. Unfortunately this has made me “that guy” that checks my entire order before leaving their drive-thru window due to their incompetency. Sorry in advance for those having to wait a little longer behind me.

Staff assumes you are driver and treats you bad with hard tone bad attitude, when you go for pick up. 3 orders same experience all 3 times. 2 times my order wasn’t ready on quoted time, 1 time it was on time but staff lady took her full time walking slow and get into attitude tone and help with order. They keeps person awaiting its almost like show of power.
How I became to know they treats you like shit because they thinks you are pick up driver? So they were out of coleslaw, when I said picking, it was same hard tone experience like 2 times before. Then she waves finger “ay can you call customer we are out of coleslaw” I am like what “coleslaw coleslaw we are out” then I got it and said it’s my order. Her tone shifted to friendly. And I feel so sorry for average pickup drivers this is what they have to go through that restaurant employee so hard tone towards them.
And I also ordered 4 piece chicken got exactly 3 but technically 4, I am questioning employee those can treat person bad based on what job they think others do. Can also be open to giving customers less and take some home at end of the day.

We were looking forward to having a chicken restaurant in our area. Went to the Winchester location today for dinner, Ordered a 2 piece leg and thigh and a 3 piece chicken breast and wing, meals both with salads rice on one and bean on the other, also side of Mac and cheese.
Problems with order.
Missing 2 salads
Missing breast meat chicken pieces
Portion size was tiny legs looked like the came off a baby chicken.
Chicken was drier than my leather hiking boots.
I counted 9 pieces of macaroni and the rest was orange soupy goo, Yuck!
First impression is that this could be a rookie staff regardless they lost us as a customer from the first sucky meal.

Ordered two items and both items were wrong. They also failed to include the dressing that comes with my salad. Disappointing experience!
The employees were Awesome, but the food was absolutely horrible! I hate I paid my hard earned money for it. The food was cold as well. The only thing that was hot was the beans. I'll never return!

Disappointing Experience
My husband and I recently visited this establishment and was underwhelmed by our experience. Specifically, both chicken burritos were served cold, and the accompanying chips were scarce, with only about 7 chips in the bag. Furthermore, the burrito portion was smaller than expected. Unfortunately, the drive-thru staff also seemed unfriendly. Given the restaurant's new status, we hope these issues will be addressed to improve customer satisfaction.
