Great food, excellent service. I has the chilaquiles and were good. Flavorful just enough spiciness but wish it was more. Beans were great. The service was excellent and she really attended us very well. We will definitely be back.

Mixed feeling. We only come for my dad and husband who enjoy the menudo. They are picky so, the menudo must be good. I have tried a variety of things from their menu: chilaquiles, nachos, American breakfast (2 eggs, 2 bacon, potato and beans)... from what I remember. The few times I've come, always the same girls, no problem with that but there is only 2. They take the order they bring out the food. And that's it. They might forget to bring you your drink, you remind them to bring your tortillas, they do not bring them. And they might even charge you an extra plate on your bill, ask for receipt. All of that with a sprinkle of attitude. Food is good to come back, which we are for menudo, but the service is the primary reason why 1 star. They need to hire more, or get there move on and pick up the pace in the restaurant. We weren't the only customers that were upset because they wouldn't check on us and bring us what we needed for our plates. Inside is small. Calm, get full fast, lots of To-go orders. Probably why they stop attending people eating there to send ppl off with their food.

Drove by this place and decided to stop. The lady out side making tortillas was so sweet. The homemade tortillas were SOOO good. We decided to get down and have mendoza. It was sooo good as well homemade. Definitely coming back to try something different . Definitely stop and try it's worth it.

My family & I drove a long way from San Diego just to arrive at this restaurant, to catch up on the long drive, and we took couple of minutes to decide what to order and the cashier is staring at me and my family throughout the entire time. When we were ready to order, the cashier said that he couldn’t take our order since they are taking a “lunch”. There is no sign at the restaurant stating that they take lunches and that’s why they denied accepting our order. I had my elderly grandmother with me and she had trouble moving around a lot. It was rude and such a hassle that we decided to make a complaint many times through the phone but they don’t even have management or supervision & the lady on the phone did not speak a lick of English at all.

We've been going here on nights where I don't want to cook dinner for some time now and the food is just getting better and better! Last night we had Chicken Sopa, A Tostada, side of beans and rice. The soup was perfect and hot, the tostada light and tasty and beans were delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly. Wash down with a Modelo and Mandarin Jarrito and we give it 5 stars. Don't come if you are in a hurry or feeling impatient, the atmosphere is laid back but there is usually not a big line which is great for relaxing and watching the music videos they play on the flatscreen while you wait for your food. We've never had to wait long enough to get annoyed. Its nice to have such good Mexican food nearby and the employees are always friendly.

Authentic exquisite Mexican food. Their menudo is a must. Accompanied with their hand made tortillas. The atmosphere is great. The service was splendid the waitress was attentive and made sure that all of our needs were satisfied.
