BurtoNZ Bakery is located in Windsor near the Safeway and in that shopping center. If you haven't been, it's an amazing place to check out! I got a small box of treats for a small group that I work with and everyone loved the breakfast pastries! They have incredible pasteries that are absolutely delicious! They have a great selection so that whatever you are looking for, they have! I went first thing in the morning so there wasn't a line and the breakfast items were soooooo delicious! It's hard to choose because they have so many amazing options. I will definitely be back!

We tried a couple of meat, pies and a couple of cakes. I really enjoyed the unique coconut covered cakes. The beef and cheese pie was fantastic! However, the prices are absolutely outrageous and I won't be going back. I can't even recommend it.

Let me just say I love Burtons and have been going their since they opened here in Windsor. Great food. Prices have gone up a lot over a few years but I assume that is expected so its more of a rare treat for us lately. What makes this review hard is service has always been average. The people that wait on you are just ...well ok. One time a customer in front of me order some dinner rolls in advanced a few days prior. They never made any of her dinner rolls and they just said "sorry we forgot about your order." I would have assumed they would have done something to help her but nothing. She went away not happy and I felt really bad for her. Sometimes some of the people in the back just seem irritated to be their but we ignore them and enjoy what we have. So if you are not ordering dinner rolls in advance, stop by and just get a meat pie, they are amazing. Steak and Potato are my sons favorite - get the ketchup to go along with that pie and you will not regret it. The sausage rolls are super good. One person told me they tasted just like their mother made them from New Zealand. Bacon and Egg pie are excellent also, great for a quick breakfast. Get sliced bread to go and just eat it "as is" in the car. My wife loves a espresso so she doesn't like going here as often since they only serve drip coffee. Great place, get in and enjoy.

I had the most delicious meat pie and sausage roll , also a big chocolate chip cookie for my daughters we were all very happy and satisfied with the food they make highly recommend this place if you are ever in Windsor, take the time to go, you won't be disappointed!

Very friendly staff guided me through their menu. I had never had a meat pie but I chose the steak and cheese and was met with a delicious flakey, hearty, savory and warm treat that was just perfect for a cold rainy morning. I also had the ham and cheese croissant (yum!) and a chocolate croissant which were both perfectly moist and flakey. This shop is a labor of love that you can taste it in every bite.

Granted I’m not a Kiwi but I grew up on meat pies and sausage rolls and these are so damn good!I went back in 3 times to get more and more. I had the steak & cheese, steak & mushroom, mince & cheese, creamy chicken, bacon & egg and a sausage roll. The pastry is light, flaky and buttery, the filling is hearty and tasty, especially the bacon and egg and sausage roll wow! And for a second or 2 while biting into them I forgot I was in the US.The lamington’s were bloody awesome!I can’t wait to come back!Parking: It’s in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking

Yum. Savory pastries New Zealand style. We chose steak and mushroom, chicken, ham and egg. Also had a sausage, scotch egg, Belgian chocolate chip cookie, a blueberry pastry and a macaroon. We also picked up a sourdough baguette. This was for brunch after driving 100 miles. Everything was tasty, the pastry flakey. We each had a favorite but the ones that stood out were the baguette, the sausage, blueberry pastry and the macaroon. You can't pick a bad one. Looking forwars to trying the other savories for next time.
