Charlie's Restaurant at the Windsor Golf Club

Very convenient for meals while we were staying at the worldmark in Windsor for Thanksgiving. Very nice atmosphere and a variety
of menu selections. We enjoyed the view while sipping our mimosas.

Staying at worldmark hotel decided to get takeout on our last night. I ordered the braised short rib and it was awful. Dry, no flavor. The polenta it was served with was runny and very lumpy. So disappointing.

Charlie’s is located in a beautiful surrounding overlooking a big pond and a golf course. From outside dining area, the view is great. The inside dinning-room is clean and well-lit. The personnel are friendly and polite. However, the food is mediocre. I have no doubt they use good quality ingredients. Their salads are really good. For such a beautiful place in an awesome surrounding, I wish the food preparation could match the ambience to make it a wholesome dinning experience. We will visit again. And the parking outside is just perfect too.

Attentive and friendly service. Food was fresh and done well. I'm always a sucker for a great view and she has got that!! Coming back next weekend!

Not a great experience. The Caesar salad had lettuce that was turning brown in some spots. The waitress was overly friendly, calling me M'lady. Wouldn't recommend.

So we finished golfing at Windsor golf course. Came in and had 3 beers, 1 wine, and one mixed drink. Had an umbrella fall and hit me in the head, damaged my wife’s glasses, and bloodied her nose. Nothing comped. They provided ice and served us. Nothing else. I’m left with a knot on my head (possible concussion) and my wife damaged glasses and and a black eye and bloody nose. I certainly expected they wouldn’t charge us after not securing the umbrella. Watch out on the patio.

Very disappointing experienced. Overpriced food....$16.95 for truffle fries with Gorgonzola. I was not paying close enough attention when I ordered them. I would never have paid almost $20 for any kind of french fries. Caesar salad was sad and lifeless....presentation was awful with just a slap of chicken breast thrown on the side which was dry and looked reheated and overcooked. Old-fashioned was underwhelming and I was charged the full price (vs a happy hour price) because the fruit is "muddled". I should have just ordered it on the rocks and gotten the better price. It would have tasted better, too.

Gorgeous patio and good food! They were very sweet with our four year old child. They even brought out fresh baked cookies at the end and drew a cute picture on the pizza to go box.

Over priced and small portions. Check your bill because menu prices don’t match your bill. Worst service. GM is incompetent in her job and not capable of addressing above concerns when addressed. It’s really a shame because it’s such a lovely environment and atmosphere.

We arrived on time for our reservation at 8pm. At 8:30 I walked back in, and let a hostess know we had yet to meet our waitress (a table next to us was complaining about only seeing their waitress twice in two hours). Fifteen minutes later, we finally meet our waitress. (This entire time, they were cleaning up tables before coming to see us.) Had to correct her four times before she wrote our order down correctly. The food arrives around 9pm. The filet mignon was smaller than it should be, tough, and though I ordered it medium, it was nearly raw on the inside and tough and black on the outside.

My wife's chicken was average and bland, compared to last time. It took us around ten minutes to be done with that, and get an incredibly average dessert which arrived about 20 minutes later.

The food was far below what this place usually serves, the wait staff mostly ignored us and were generally noisy the whole time.

This was supposed to be a special occasion. Should've saved some money and frustration and just hit McDonalds.

Sat in the patio, great ambiance. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was ok. Had an regular adult beverage, they have a bar but not a special drink menu.
