The ceasar salad is terrible, the lettuce was old and gross and the food IS NOT fresh at all. I had the hangar steak which wasn't bad, but everyone in my group said their food was disappointing and the portions were small. The food is expensive too. I feel like if I'm going to pay that kind of money, I want actual French bread with dinner and not over priced foccacia bread I have to pay for. They really cut corners on certain things and its very apparent. This place wants to be a nice Italian restaurant, but it's not.

Food was absolutely fabulous. Server was very friendly and helpful. Loved every bit of it and took some extra focaccia bread home.

This place was disappointing. Nearly all of the food was mediocre (my friend thought so as well). The mushroom raviolis were yummy, but there wasn't enough. I absolutely was not satisfied with that dish as a main course.Service was quick, accommodating, and friendly. There's other better Italian restaurants around.

I've only eaten here for happy hour. I ordered the chicken sliders and the focaccia pizza which were pretty good. for me and what I've seen others in my party order... The prices are quite high for the amount of food you get.Parking: because we were there for happy hour, I was able to park on the street right in front of the restaurant.

Happy hour is fantastic and a killer deal. The new chicken sliders are excellent. Stay away from the cannoli. The only thing I could taste was powdered sugar. The cheesecake is to die for.

Excellent Happy Hour 4-6 with $8 amazing Lemon Drops and Old Fashioneds. Delicious apps for $6. Friendly service. A gem in the Sonoma Wine Country.

Server took a long time to show up, seemed distracted. Salads came, all good. But Server then asked what I had ordered, had the wrong item. We reconfirmed both entrees. But when the entrees showed up, my husband was served the wrong item. The server corrected it, and then when the bill came, we were not charged for my husband's order. So she made right on her error. Still disappointing and detracted from the enjoyment of our meal. We were the last seating, so maybe server had a long night?

Amazing food and service. The outside " patio" is lovely, it's enclosed with panels that offer privacy from the street and plenty of space heaters to keep it comfortable. (Also the noise level outside is minimal, very easy to converse.). Great menu and the restaurant week menu was delicious with great options. Lovely!

For my first time at Grata, I found it pleasant, quiet, with outstanding service. One companion chose the Restaurant Week lunch offering and was bitterly disappointed: the main dish of piadini was nearly inedible (although the tiramisu was good). My other companion and I ordered from the regular menu and found it delicious (I had the pesto chicken over gnocchi; she had the smoked salmon carbonara). It's a tossup if I'd go again and probably would recommend it only with a cautionary statement.

We had previously eaten at Grata and thought it was good. Went back for the restaurant week menu and the entree couldn't have been worse. I ordered the fish picatta and it was like a piece of rubber. I could not even cut a piece off of it with a knife. My husbands chicken was super dry and tasteless. I have never in my 64 years sent an entree back uneaten. The waitress was super nice and said that my complaint was not the only one and they hadd just taken it off the menu. She blamed the supplier. Salad, arancini appetizer and dessert were delicious. Our table was uncomfortably set in the small entry area between the very noisy bar and the front door that was being opened every few minutes. Probably won't ever go back based on this experience. Would much prefer Baci in Healdsburg for Italian food. PS - the water tasted heavily of chlorine and I refused to drink that as well.

Grata is an inviting, comfortable restaurant. The focaccia bread was addicting and our meals (ravioli and pappardelle bolognese) were excellent. There was a mix-up at first with my husband's entree but the owner/manager very generously compensated for it. It's obvious he cares that his customers have a great experience...and we did!

Very nice. Service was excellent. The short rib omelet and beef sandwich were outstanding. You need to try the cannoli, it rivals any that I had in Italy and very nearly matched my aunt's recipe (from Sicily).

I took a friend for the first time to Grata's and he absolutely loved the restaurant and the food! I was also impressed that you did not charge a BOH of 3%. I really object to being charged a BOH 3% fee. If that happens, I will only give the waiter or waitress a 17% tip.
