Met the owner (as he bussed our table!) and you can tell how much sweat and love he and his partner put into keeping KC's open during the hard times. Food was, as always, perfectly cooked and delicious!! I won't visit that area without stopping in! Try the potato pancakes (ask for crispy). They are soooo good. 😋💕

I loved walking into this restaurant. Immediately, I noticed the friendly nature of the staff and the fun and entertaining signs and pictures that were hanging up everywhere. I love how clever the table settings were and the way the art and signs were placed together. I could tell it was well thought out and yet it just looked like it was random and fun. My burger was cooked to perfection and my husband, who is a chef by the way, said that’s one of the best burgers he’s had in a while. Our server Travis was excellent. He was so thoughtful and courteous. My dad had a cane and he made sure that it was accessible, but not in the way of our table. He was personable. I can’t say enough about this place. I really enjoyed it and I will be back when I come to visit family.

Updated review: Just went here for brunch again and delicious as always! Had a short wait for a table since it was around 11:15 am and they were super busy. Fast, friendly service and good food! Always love it here at KC’s. We got the Eggs Benedict Blackstone and the California Eggs Benedict. Both yummy and satisfying. Busy, lively atmosphere:-)
Great local diner with good food, service and style. The decorations are interesting and funny and their outdoor, covered patio is nice, even in fall and winter time because they have fire pits. What I especially like about KC’s is their breakfast menu. Prices are little on the high side, but you get what you pay for. I’ll definitely be back here! Great food and service:-)
I've gotten both takeout and dined in at KC's over the years. Delicious food, good breakfast selection, and friendly service. Some of my favorite dishes are the vegetarian burger, eggs, French toast, and grilled cheese. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, and the prices are kind of high, but I still recommend KC's. Their outdoor seating is pleasant and in a great location. I also recommend their variety of salads.

My daughter had a scrumptious salmon salad . Whole piece on salmon topped the salad. I had the beef and bleu sandwich. I was not as impressed with my meal. The meat was tough and l will not order that again. However l will return due to atmosphere and service. In the heart of quaint Windsor.

We liked it so much we went 3 times. The people are fabulous they were all super friendly. I had the loaded potato cakes, my brother had hillbilly benedicts, our friend got an omelet, they were amazing. We had leftovers that time so we split meals after that. Next we tried the chicken fried steak it was very good. I have to shout out our servers Keaton, Devon & Yami, but everyone in the place checked in on us.

We tried Animal omelette , potato works and Belgian waffle. The omelette taste great. But the other two are just so so. The works is basically a mix of Ham, avocado, Raw green pepper, raw onion and potato chunks.
The service and vibes are great too. I think it is worth coming back. Maybe try something else.
