I asked someone at a nearby business where I could find good Mexican food nearby and they suggested Martin's Taqueria. I'm sure glad they did. I had the Carne Asada plate with my choice of black beans. It had a generous amount of delicious perfectly seasoned meat cooked with just the right amount of char. Great BBQ chicken. Our only complaint is the gentleman cooking the barbecue chicken. And the grocery clerk can barely speak English. When we asked for two chickens we had to hold up her fingers. When I asked for napkins they didn't know what I was talking about. I had to walk around the store and I did find the napkins.
Martin's is a gem hidden in a small shopping center at the north-end of Windsor on Old Redwood Hwy. Menudo on Saturdays is excellent, and there burritos are large and tasty, and there tacos are also excellent and priced well.
