My wife and I just moved to Windsor and I was excited to see that there is a Omellete Express here. Yesterday when I entered your establishment for the first time, I was mistaken for a Doordash worker, by the older of the two servers that were working. I can only assume that she believed that was the case, because I am African American. Which was a total profile on her part. It never occurred to her that I may be a first time customer, that was trying to have breakfast. That made my entire visit uncomfortable. The younger of the two servers actually waited on me and was awesome, but the damage had already been done. I will not be returning to your place of business.

Special was a NY steak, house potatoes and eggs to order for $24. Steak was boil a bag product probably a sisco brand. Order a medium rare and received a well done flat iron style steak. There wasn't any seasoning on the protein and the potatoes were mush. The weight was roughly 4oz and a huge disappointment. They need to stick to omelettes.

The food here has just gotten awful. This used to be a good place to get some breakfast. These days the quality appears to have slipped a lot. Everything seems par cooked and warmed to serve. The bacon was like leather. The corn beef hash appears to be almost steamed, with very little color or char on it. The smoked salmon benny had the salmon (over) cooked on a the flat top, which seemed odd.I live in town within walking distance of this place and I’ll probably just never go back. What you’re getting for what you’re paying just isn’t there anymore. It’s unfortunate, because I don’t think Windsor has a good sit down breakfast spot anymore.

Rare hidden gem of breakfast dinner. Never greasy and never a bad meal. The owner is always making people feel welcome. Even if you don't like omelets... Have an omelet! You'll be back.
