My girlfriend Angelica and I had such a wonderful and memorable experience at Taddei Wines. The owners Chris and Dana gave us a private tasting and immediately welcomed us like we were family.
Because of his superior reputation, his generous spirit and active nvolvment in the local wine community, Chris has access to some of the best Vineyards in Sonoma and Napa. His Wines are consistently balanced, complex, yet unique and deliciously distinct in flavor and profile. There truly is no other wine like his in this area.
During the tasting, His passion for winemaking came through as he had us try different vintages of the same varietal and on numerous occassions, he pulled barrel samples of wine that was in various stages of aging and development.
Both Chris and Dana were so generous and kindhearted that the afternoon passed by effortlessly and before we knew it, we had been there for hours. Special shout out to club members James and Nina, who encouraged us to give Taddei Wines a try.
We happily joined the club and look forward to drinking their wine and visiting when possible. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get in every bottle. I highly recommend you give this small boutique winery a try. Thank you Chris and Dana for being such wonderful and generous people that make fantastic and excellent wine.

The passion for wine that Chris & Dana have is only surpassed by their kindness. You may intend to go for the wine but you will leave with with a smile as they will surely touch your heart.

I’ve been searching for over 35 years to find wine of this quality at this price point. I found Taddei wines by accident and fell in love immediately. The owners, Chris and Dana are the nicest most humble people you will ever meet. And Chris has access to awesome grapes and knows how to make awesome (and I mean awesome) wine. They are in a warehouse district and off the beaten path. There are definitely some good wineries up this way (A.Ra…., Blue R…, etc). Taddei is consistently as good or better for a better price point, especially if you join the club (25% off). Besides Taddei, I only belong to one other wine club and they are at the top of the ridge in Cupertino. If you really know and appreciate wine, connect with Taddei. Their wines are legit! And they are also. Enjoy.

Although you wouldn’t know it from the nondescript parking lot, this is a fantastic place to taste high quality wines, specializing in big Sonoma and Napa valley reds. You will taste with Chris Taddei, the winemaker himself, and it will be a relaxed and leisurely tasting, so please allot ample time. I’m most fond of the Cab Sauvs, Cab Francs, and Pinot Noirs, but I was impressed by how many different varietals he works with. If you are nerdy about wine, like me, this is a great place to go! We loved it so much we joined the club, and we have enjoyed every shipment since. Can’t wait to get back there on our next trip to Sonoma County!!

My wife and I visited Taddei a couple of years ago based on recommendations from some good friends of ours. From the minute we walked through the door, Chris treated us like royalty and shared so many of his wonderful wines with us, both in bottles and directly from barrels. We were so wrapped up in conversation and revelry that before we knew it, we'd blown past our dinner reservation. It really was such an epic wine tasting experience. Of course we've been members ever since and have loved every club shipment. We often bring Taddei to bottle shares and they never disappoint!

First time at the tasting room, had a wonderful time with the live music, good food and friendly welcoming members. They’ve built a wonderful community here.

Fav of the set goes to Taddei Summerhill Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s is a testament to expert winemaking. It’s full bodied and perfect balance of fruit and tannins that will make a great addition to your dinner or cellar.

It’s a wine that can be enjoyed now for its vibrant fruit and complexity but also promises further development with a few years of cellaring. Whether you're a casual wine enthusiast or a seasoned connoisseur, this Cabernet is sure to impress with its elegance and depth

If you’re into bold red wines and you enjoy being treated like royalty, Taddei is the place to be.I travel for work and don't always love driving out of San Francisco on the weekends, but Taddei Wines makes it worth the trip. These folks are all about the bold reds. The Cabernet Sauvignon? It's like drinking a symphony. You've got your blackcurrant, your cherry, a little hint of oak—it’s got more layers than a wedding cake! And the Zinfandel? Smooth, balanced, and just the right amount of spice. You sip it, and you’re thinking, "Why don’t all wines taste like this?"And the staff! These people know their stuff. They're like wine wizards. They’re so passionate about it, you start to feel like you're part of the vineyard family. It’s not just tasting wine; it's an education. You leave there thinking, "I should write a book about this."They’ve also got these fantastic cheeses and charcuterie to go with the wine. It’s like a party on your palate. It's not just a visit; it's an experience. Trust me, you’ll walk away with a bottle, a smile, and a story to tell. What's not to love?

We first came here a number of years ago and Taddei Wines is still a favorite! This Tasting Room is a must for those who love and truly appreciate wine! You'll have the added benefit of speaking directly with the wine maker, Chris Taddei, who shares his knowledge and passion of the wines he creates. On our first visit during the tasting, Chris came out with his plastic beaker with a blend he just created from the barrels, and it was just so cool to get his time and attention educating us on wine. All of the wines from the whites to the reds are delicious, which is a key reason to become a club member which I believe I did on that first visit--every shipment is fantastic! Periodically there are sales on wine, which are super good, low prices and the pick up parties are fun, leisurely events with amazing food! There is a shaded outside spot to do a tasting when the weather is nice as well as inside seating to lounge and sample wine. It is easy to lose track of time when focusing on the wine, I must admit. But this isn't a place where you breeze through, quickly sample the list and move onto the next Tasting Room. If you love wine, you'll want to take the time to find your own favorite!

Going to Super Sonoman, you need to be ready to be fully engaged. This isn't your typical estate or tasting room experience! Winemaker Chris Taddei takes you on a passionate journey through his wine making at his warehouse production facility. We had the pleasure to be active participants as fruit arrived at the facility with Chris taking us through the wine making from start to finish ,allowing us to taste wines at various stages of fermentation. Now to the wine itself! Outstanding ! Superior! Zinfandel, Cabernet, Barbera and the best Chardonnay I have ever had in my life. All of the wines are big, bold and complex. This isn't a college student reciting memorized tasting notes, this is the winemaker himself leading you on a journey that leads to fantastic wines. We spent a few hours with Chris and his wife Dana learning about wine making and tasting all along the way. This was a fantastic experience that I am so thankful to Chris for taking me on.
