I had to make plans to eat here after being away for almost 15 years. The tri tip is still the best I’ve ever had!! It was perfectly cooked and had so much flavor! I’m glad to see that they made it through the pandemic. This place is a true gem. 💕
Way too loud. We couldn't hear each other talk. Staff was spread too thin because they scheduled for a slow Thur night. Food was good. Broccoli wasn't cooked right. Give us a choice of veggies. I'd eat carrots over broccoli. They shouldn't charge for bread.

The best dinner this side of the Rockies!!! Start with the Garlic Truffle Fries!! They are to die for!!!!
First time here in Winters, we sat down and had our drinks in 1 minute and our Prime Rib and Steak Bites in 5 minutes. We both had a little of each and the the Prime Rib was hands down the best we have had. The steak bites were perfectly seasoned and cooked to order. Will be back when we come to town.

The appetizer bread is very good. The service has declined but you can't beat the atmosphere. Unfortunately all of the food is very charred. But, you can't beat the atmosphere.

Always an unbelievable meal! I've been coming here since the 1990s.
Anytime, I am driving through the area, I will stop to have an amazing steak and, of course, sourdough bread!
The charroast is my go-to, and the salads are huge, so split and save room for the mud pie dessert! You will thank me later. ??
Oh, and pace yourself on that sourdough! I always save 2-3 slices of steak for the next day, even tastier!
Again, the mud pie is a goal worth having, so making sure not to over eat.?
Thank goodness some things never change!
This place always delivers high-quality food with fantastic service!
It's worth the drive always.

No complaints on the food although the service wasn't the best we were there for about an hour and the server only checked on us once we had to find her to pay for the bill
We came here for father's day and my dad's birthday in the same couple weeks and they were both 10/10 meals. Everything from the bread to the cocktails to, of course the Ribeyes and prime ribs, is so delicious. Thank you!
