My experience was very enjoyable and relaxing. I would recommended this restaurant to anyone visiting Winters, Ca.
Great place and amazing food, love the ambience and it was nice to finally see a place like this pop up!
The pasta dishes are their claim to fame and were excellent! Service was food and we were there when it was dead, on a Monday night so the noise level was low.
Try the special of the evening, no matter what it is. The shrimp linguini was seasoned so well, and brought steaming hot to the table. Fantastic, great quick service.
Great menu selection and great service. A little higher on the noise level, if you are looking for something more quiet and intimidate may not be your best choice. When they were unexpectedly ran out of tiramisu as a dessert (my guest's favorite), our server kindly comped us another offering.
The food was only fair but pretty pricey, the room is noisy and it's hard to have a conversation. Plus, they didn't have any chocolate gelato - gelato being one of the things I have liked at this place in the past.
I was looking forward to having New Year's Eve dinner here. Had reservations for 4. We were seated right away. Service started out ok. Water brought right away, order taken them waited over 45 minutes for the for to be brought to the table. Not once while waiting did our server come by and see if we needed anything or to apologize for the wait.
The food was delicious but again server never came back to see how our meals were or if we needed anything else. One of our party went to the servers station to ask if we could get more water for the table and that never happened. Finally went to the bar to get a glass of water.
I realize that on a holiday evening it can be busy but the service was horrible. Very disappointed.
Probably won't be going back.

Not sure if they were short staffed but it really didn't seem all that busy and it took our waitress 15-20 mins to come over to us once we were seated. I think she only checked in on us 2-3 times and we waited for our main course for over an hour. They ended up taking our main courses off the tab because it took so long. Food was actually really good but the service was awful. Even manager had an attitude. Won't be back unfortunately
I was very disappointed. Ate there New Year's Eve and they were more crowded than usual. We had a reservation and were seated on time. Our server came right away to take our order. She brought our wine quickly. Then, she did not return to our table until it was time for the bill. We waited over 45 minutes for our food. No one refilled water. One of our party got up to find water and was sent back to the table by another server, but no water came. He finally went to the bar to get his own water. At one point I looked around and only one table of guests had food. A really poor experience for a relatively pricey restaurant.
We got really poor service unfortunately. We came in at 5:30 with little ones and I think our server came to our table 3 times total the whole experience. We waited over an hour for our meals took forever to get our order in. We had to grab our own drinks from the bar. Asked for check 4 different times. I understand that it's a holiday and for one of these things to happen is totally understandable.. but we straight up just didn't get any attentive service whatsoever.

I loved the experience! The place is absolutely gorgeous inside. I gave 4 stars for two reasons. 1, we had a party of 6, on the menu it says parties that size or larger will have 18% gratuity added. When the bill came they added 22%. And 2, two of the stalls in the ladies room had zero toilet paper. Not even a scrap on the cardboard roll. It's the kind of holder that only holds one roll. If you're not going to have an industrial toilet paper dispenser, you have to check it more often. Especially on a Saturday night. I had the lasagna which wasn't bad, I would have preferred a little more meat in it and less ricotta but it was good. Hubby loved his chicken parm. I will add that they make their own pasta which is impressive. My friends really enjoyed their meals. Mushroom gemeli (2 ordered and loved it), chicken alfredo and fennel sausage pasta. The cheesecake wasn't great to me but my friend liked it. It was lemony with a honey type drizzle. The bread they give you before your meal is straight from Heaven. I loved it. The garden salad was pleasant. I really liked the dressing, a nice balsamic. I would hesitate to go again for dinner but would love to go to the rooftop bar sometime. Although on the cocktail menu most drinks were about $16 so it's definitely not somewhere you go if you're wanting to hang out and have cocktails for any length of time.
Parking: There is parking across the street in a gravel lot and a few spaces on the street.

Carboni's is the cleanest restaurant I've ever seen. From the table and chairs, to the floor, to the glass walls, to the display kitchen, to the restrooms, it was spotless. The food was excellent. The bread and dipping sauce were fantastic. Our server was helpful and checked back often. She left two tall bottles of water on the table for four people, so we didn't need to ask for refills. They gladly accommodated menu modifications for allergies. I would definitely eat there again.

Our last stop at the pup crawl on 11/30/24 and was disappointed when the bartender told us if we tell her our order she may forget it…….not going back!

Not sure why there’s poor reviews, the service was lovely and I loved the staff! Ambiance was great and the avocado toast was lovely!
Yes, it was quite empty for lunch but I enjoyed the quiet.
