The Ocean is so devoid of atmosphere to the point that it has a certain respectable charm. But besides that the staff is friendly and accommodating to requests and the food is well prepared, American style Chinese. My favorite place for Chinese lunch, dinner and takeout.

I don't usually sit at this restaurant. But it's the only Asian Cuisine (I don't know the nationality they are-my apologies.) In Winters, CA. What we have tried was delicious! Mine was a "wrapped chicken" appetizer. Bo Bo Platter was good too. Thank you. Friendly staff. Orange chicken was good. It is made with real orange and the chicken tasted fresh and tender. Chow mein was okay, underseasoned but cooked well. Everything else sadly was below par. We ordered a Szechuan Beef and 95% of it was onions. The beef we did find was flavorless, gray and rubbery. Sweet/sour pork was also very bland and way overcooked. This place is marginally better than other Chinese you'll find in the area (Dixon, Vacaville).

Ocean hits! The young lady working the front hustles and works hard. The food is your classic neighborhood Chinese food spot. Grub! The place is dated, but hey what's old is new!
Their food is absolutely delicious. Their orange chicken is like you've never tasted before. It has a real orange flavor to it that I completely didn't expect but really enjoyed. They welcome everyone warmly and our food comes quickly. Their chefs are consistent, we can always expect a good meal.
I love Ocean they have the best Chinese Food in Yolo County.
