Cool little Bar. They have many activities throughout the week. I've only been here twice, but every time, there's been a nice crowd of people. The bar is clean and warm on cold days.
We stayed across the street from the kern river tavern, and as soon as we walked in, we were welcomed. The bartender Lala might be the best bartender I’ve ever had. Friendly, kind and knowledgeable. 1 month later, we came back just to see her and she remembered us. She is a gemstone around a bunch of boulders.
“The Tavern” is the best bar in Kern River Valley. Stop by and ask for LaLa. She is AMAZING! She”s the best bartender and so personable. We don’t consider ourselves to be on vacation until LaLa pours us a drink.
