We were seated on time. Drinks and salad were good. Entrees were terrible, both my wife and I did not finish the meal. Chicken Marsala was dry with very salty brown gravy. Halibut was dry, no flavor. We won't be back.

WHEN WRITING THIS REVIEW, THIS PLACE IS NOW CALLED “Exchange 1874”.Came for brunch(12pm-10 people):The service was very slow, ordered bottomless mimosas and it took about 20 min and they were brought out 2 at a time, in 5-10 min intervals. (We ordered food and drinks same time) our food came out at post office pace; 2 of our party didn’t get their meal(one of which was just a side of biscuits and gravy) for about 45 min.Aside from the abysmally slow service…One of our mimosa carafes had mold at the bottom. Their excuse for it was that the server grabbed the carafe from the back of the cabinets so it wasn’t used for a long time and it was over looked during their transition.Absolutely unacceptable.BUT.The food is very good, so….

This being a new restaurant I understand why service was slow. Very disappointed with the food. Overcooked salmon and the salad was mostly light colored leaves of lettuce similar to iceberg with minimum amount of ingredients that was listed in the menu. My daughter's Dinner just ok. On the upside, management staff were very attentive and pleasant.

Came in from a long awaited return from AZ to have dinner with my GF. We showed up a half hour early for our table to enjoy the bar area and some drinks. The server told us she could seat us right away, so we were excited. My GF chose this place because she wanted to try the new place and was excited to take me out for a treat after being gone 32 days from home. We sat down, and got the menus from someone who asked us twice about how we were doing and what we were there for. When she realized she asked us that, she said she was confused and that she wasn't sure why she asked then. Then she proceeded to say, please don't yelp that. Honestly, it takes a long to review something for me. Either an amazing or bad experience is what I usually note a review. Unfortunately this ended as bad as it started. Even though we were 30 minutes early, we didn't get water for 20 minutes from the same hostess that sat us. We had servers continue to come by our table and not acknowledge us. Both of us were trying to stay positive for each other, but looked at each other after 25 minutes of nobody acknowledging us other than the hostess. Right then, a server came to the table next to us to take the order of the table that had just been sat. We didn't order anything because we never were even asked for a drink order. We both looked at each other and said let's go. The server looked at us, didn't say anything, and we walked out. Poor service.. The price of the meal was not cheap, so I was surprised that this was the way they treat guests. My opinion, this place is doomed to fail.. Can't rate the meal because we didn't even get to try anything but water after 20 minutes. Btw, it wasn't even busy...

Our server was very attentive, but did not know anything about wine or their wine list and made a mistake in the wine order. Lots of time and confusion over figuring out that they didn't even have the wine that was ordered and that he submitted the wrong order to the bartender. Nice guy, but he needs to educate himself on their wines, which ones are white vs. red, and availability. Food was good and ambiance was exemplary.

I do not typically write reviews, however, this is important to me. I took my Wife there for the first time on Tuesday. Everything was fantastic! We were greeted by both a Man and a Woman at the front door with smiles and friendliness. Our Waitress was very attentive and helpful. We ordered clam chowder soup, apple cranberry salad and the chicken marsala. They were all fantastic. we decided to go back last night. We took our daughter and her boyfriend, four of us total. Again, everything was spot on. We had a different server, and he too was also very attentive and helpful. We all ordered different items, and they were excellent. I will be calling the manager today to let them know how well they are doing. Well done and thank you!

We had dinner at the new exchange 1874 last night. Got there 15min early to check out the bar and have a drink. There was one other couple in there. The bartender didn't acknowledge us for about 10 min. We had to ask for a drink menu to get her attention. Finally after getting our drinks we went to our table. Our server was the least friendly person and took so long to get our order. (Wasn't busy) after we got our food and drinks we didn't get checked on one single time through our dinner. Food was AMAZING. Drinks were overpriced. And the hostess was probably the nicest part of the staff we saw there.

The ambiance is wonderful! Food and drinks were delicious. Service could use a little help, but it was only the first weekend they were open, so we are hopeful it will improve. We will definitely be back!

I was excited to try this new place. the waiter was good he was just overwhelmed. I would have been happier if he had just told us. At first he took our order - but my salad didn't come because they were out of blue cheese dressing. How are you out of blue cheese dressing and it's only 6:20PM? Then my husband was done with his salad by the time my arrived. Finally our meals arrived - I ordered the ribeye - it was thin cut so that explained the good pricing on it. My husband was supposed to have swiss Chard that seemed to be missing from his meal. Someone else brought our meals - left the salad plates on the small table we sat at. Had to ask for pepper with the salad -and a coke as I had no drink with my meal. Then finally after we were done eating our waiter came by. He explained he'd been there since 10:30 and they'd asked him to stay. I'm just saying - tell us up front and I would have been more understanding. Finally I asked for a cup of coffee and we were told they were OUT of Coffee???? I was happy with our meal but this place needs help.

Beautiful, great vibe. Fantastic service. We had the flat bread appetizer, a New York steak, a rib eye steak and the apple caramel bread pudding dessert. Every bite was delicious! It is a little pricey for Lodi, but overall we would definitely go back!

The selection for lunch was a variety of sandwiches and appetizers. We shared the beet salad which was very tasty and had the pork belly and ribeye sandwich which came with fries. Both were quite flavorful adequately seasoned. We tried the jalapeño margarita and raspberry lemon lemon drop to complete our lunch.

They recently rebranded from Oddfellows to The Exchange 1874. We went during the soft opening yesterday, so I'm giving a little grace that some of what we experienced will work itself out. Which is why I still gave them 3 stars. Pros: -Most of the food we ordered was delicious -Drinks were good -The new remodel has a nice speakeasy vibe -Everyone that works there was very kind Cons: -We made reservations and showed up 5 mins early but still weren't seated until 15 mins after our reservation time. -No children's menu -Neither the hostess, bartender or server were very attentive and forgot multiple things throughout our experience. (Everyone was very kind though). -The drinks took so long that the appetizers were out before the drinks (and we ordered those after). -Lobster Mac N cheese was the only item that was lacking flavor. It needed salt and pepper. -Everything on the menu is a bit lavish. I wish they had atleast one basic grass fed burger or something as an option for pickier eaters. -The Burrata ravioli was delicious but only came with about 6 raviolis. My husband ended up having half his mom's steak as well. -The prices are a bit high for what you get. Our tab was a little over $300 for 5 people (1 was a child who only ate butter noodles). I was hoping for the price we paid, the experience would've been a little better. My husband and I will probably give them another try in the future and see if some of the "kinks" are worked out but I don't think we would bring the family back at this point.
