Beck’s Cafe and bakery

I found this place to be very charming, it's small, cozy and delightful. I didn't eat any food, just came here to meet a friend and talk over some shakes. The service was amazing!! The host was very pleasant and cheerful, and very helpful too.I wanted something unique and different, so I tried the Malabi Dream. It was incredibly sweet and had a very unique rose flavor. Tasted like I was inhaling a few sprints of rose perfume into my mouth and nose!! It was too strong for my liking. My friend tasted it too and it just shot up thru his nose too!! Server was very kind and understanding, she was happy to get me something else.I settled for an Oreo Milkshake, which was very good. I love oreos and this did it justice. So yummy.As a side note, my eyes kept watering and getting a burning sensation. It was from a certain spice, but I couldn't pin point which herb or spice it was.Overall very nice lil place to visit.

The food was A-class! Their Shakshuka was perfection. So yes, the food was amazing! So why the 1 star? Service. I understand that you’re shortstaffed but maybe tell your customers in advance and prep them so you don’t project your stress on them! This lady was so crass and snappy with me. Its my first time at Beck’s and FIRST TIME trying Shakshuka. Well, this lady who checked me out and served me ruined it for me. She didn’t even clarify that the Shakshuka I ordered was for two, even though I ordered for one. When my bill came, I asked her why it was over $10, she explains, and then she continues, “I don’t have time for this, so do you want to pay or not?” This single lonely star is for her rudeness & impoliteness! If you’re mad that you’re shortstaffed, then show your stress on your boss. And if you’re the boss, then turn extra people away and accommodate how many ever you humanly can. We customers are not the problem. Don’t forget that we are the ones paying YOU. Not you paying US.

Best Israeli breakfast I'm the area

Really good food and even better service. A friend recommended this place and have been back twice this week. Their Shakshuka, Pancakes, and Israeli breakfast are all fantastic. Very friendly staff and good ambience all around.

The way they treat their staff is Disgusting. Overheard what I imagine was the manager going off on the poor staff that was very nice & doing her job. I wouldn’t recommend. Abusing your staff is not cute.I’m not sure who this person answering to my review is but only managers, supervisors, and owners have access to Google pages. So, I was just threatened by the owner of the establishment to take down my review. Your food was underwhelming & prices sucked for the quantity of food. The staff was doing their best except for the one “manager/supervisor/floor manager” who was unnecessarily rude on the floor. Thankfully I don’t live in state & visit twice a year for summer. I sure as hell won’t be going back there spending my hard earned money to support someone so rude & unprofessional.

We waited 45 minutes for our food but its was a really nice place pretty small but the food was good also the people where really nice just way to long of the wait for food, but its was mothers day so it was really busy also gives me the best Israeli vibes u latterly will fell like your in isreal.
